I mean heh? Is there actually still a large magority of people that still listens to this band regularly? You have to admit their haydays are long over and they haven't really put out anything for years thats worth listening to. Do you still play your old Stones stuff all the time or are you just more in love with what they used to be and what they used to mean to you? Not trying to be an @#$%& here but come on lets be honest. Being a huge Stones fan doesnt make a whole lot of sense in this day and age. What else have we got though, Justin Beiber?
I'm still listening to this, as well as their best albums. The best ones change all the time, so right now I'm listening a lot to Aftermath and BTB.
Good music never dies.

The sad thing is that because of the band's marketing strategy, it's getting more and more difficult for anyone but the very rich or the very dedicated to have the experience of listening to them live while that is still possible - and that is a pity.

For the record, I DO listen to other music; I do find a lot of todays' music disappointing but I try to keep an open mind ( and ear)..it's tough. I find myself returning to old British Invasion tunes....still love The Who, and McCartney too although I don't buy much of his new material. I should, it just gets by me!

- well lets put it this way ..if you are NOT listening to the stones heyday period, say 68 -72/73, then you are NOT acquiring the essence of what DEFINES rock and roll as a musical genre. and therefore you cannot subjectively put that definition into proper context with music of that genre from any other period, since. (or before) and then, really, you are only just penalizing yourself, for whatever reason.

I honestly can't say the last time that I listened to a Stones album. It has to be over 2 years now...
