Cloudy
The sky is gray and white and cloudy
Sometimes I think it's hanging down on me
And it's a hitchhike a hundred miles
I'm a rag-a-muffin child
Pointed finger-painted smile
I left my shadow waiting down the road for me a while ....

Drumcondra 6.15am ---- 29 September 2023

Let the music play loud
Let it burst through the clouds
And we all feel the heat
Of the sun, yeah
Yeah, let us sing
Let us shout
Let us all stand up proud
Let the old still believe that they're young, yeah

Sweet Sounds Of Heaven

First winter storm of the year coming…freezing rain, snow, crud, and lots of it. This is the traditional day when Canadians wonder why the heck we live in this country and commence 4 months of whining, shovelling, complaining, shovelling, drinking and shovelling.

We have an Aussie joining us this year, an actual ‘Roo on the loose. Hope they capture the critter soon - this is no land for Aussies!

Hey STG, no shoveling out here but an "atmospheric river" is about to hit us tonight into Tuesday! I liked them better when they were called pineapple express! At least you don't have to shovel rain.
Going to be at BC Place Tuesday night for Christine Sinclair's final soccer game with the Cdn women's national team. Close to 45000 will be there, along with almost 19000 across the street for the Canucks game so it's going to be busy downtown!

BC Place? Surely you mean Christine Sinclair Place? winking smiley

Enjoy - and hang on to your seat until July 5 - it may be your only way in given the state of ticket sales.

Yes CS Place! I'm hoping Australia plays their starters. Friday night in Victoria they started most of their subs and lost 5-0. Also it's a final game for long time CANWT player Sophie Schidmt who is from nearby Abbotsford so she'll be recognized, too as well as long time goalkeeper Erin Macleod. I"m also glad TSN has decided to show the game so most of Canada can watch it.

Funny thing about the Pineapple Express - pineapples aren't from Hawaii! Hope you're mentally in place for a ton of rain.
