In Seattle we had an ice storm overnight on top of some exisiting snow. The city is basically shut down. All bus service in the city has been cancelled & there is only 1 open runway at the airport, that is if you can get to the airport. In the US a total of 3600 flights have been cancelled today. On 1 of the busiest travel days of the year. Saying things are ugly would be an understatement.

Some places are experiencing flooding around me. I live close to the escarpment so I don't have any worries about that, just the 115 km/hr winds and the blowing snow are my worries.Quote
