Frankly, I think the 1965 Mick would be stunned at how hard he works and how much he accomplishes in his 70's. In 1965, most people in their 70's were retired, spending the days relaxing at home. In fact, that's still true! How many of us are within 15 years of Mick's age? Mick flew across the country and played three shows last week. What did we do?

I've noticed Mick tends to have trouble on that one and the only reason I can think of is his monitoring with Lisa's (ahem) dominant vocal included with his. Perhaps turning her down in his monitor a bit for this song would be helpful.
But if you want to hear flat, check out Satisfaction. The best recording in the world couldn't help the vocal on that one. Yes he did reach for his earpiece a few times but I'm not sure that was the issue. He probably just hears and sings differently when he's pissed off and possibly the fatigue in his voice and ears after yet another loud show (after 50+ years of them) couldn't compete.

But anyway, this is an incredibly fun tour, with the periscoping, it's truly amazing to be watching and listening to these shows as they're going on. It tops a lot of the other geeky stuff us fans do on the internet.... And thanks to apple, too! I'm just happy and grateful to be watching and listening to these shows as they're going on. So, the internet is proving to be good for something other than selling products, actually... Long live the Stones!

I think there's been a lot of positive reactions and comments to this tour along with legitimate complaints from some. Pretty well balanced from what I've seen, although I don't read every single thread.
Exactly. Many of us who voice complaints also voice strong positives of what we enjoy. Being a passionate fan is one of the many reasons I enjoy coming to this forum. And as someone who paid $740 for two tickets to a show this tour, I think I am entitled to gripe about the setlist a bit!

from what i have seen on the you tube clips they are really getting into their stride now. they should of kept the 14 on fire name going because in 2015 they are soo on fire. to think that they are in their seventies. just amazing how they are so committed and determined to show us all they still have what it takes to be the best band in the world.

Beatles fans can't buy tickets to see them perform live. Stones fans can. We should stop all this bitching and moaning about set lists and warhorses and enjoy them while we can. It ain't going to last forever. Wake up!
