You know what I mean, the concert versions of his songs are extremely watered down elevator music type knockoffs.

I soured on elevator music since the last time it left me hanging in between moods.

Not to take anything away from him, but Taylor plays nothing like the way he did when he was with the Stones. His version of CYHMK is very jazzy. I am very curious to see how this sounds but I fear anyone expecting a Brussels version of "Shelter" will be disappointed. Hope I'm wrong.

The only caveat is that Taylor's amp won't be plugged to the PA system, so he's going to have to turn up to 11.

Good lord, I'm sitting here in Amsterdam, with a flight booked for Seattle in the morning. So tempting to hop one to London instead and see the real Rolling Stones. I am suddenly envious of all you folks with London tickets. If they confirm Taylor and Wyman for the NY area shows I'll definitely be going, but I doubt they'll get Bill to fly.
And they only "approached" Taylor yesterday? What up with that?

Not to take anything away from THEM, but Ron Wood and Keith Richards aren't exactly in 1973 form either. Maybe you haven't noticed.

Maybe you should send a complaint to BV and to The Rolling Stones company instead?

I was 100% sure that MT and BW would be joining on stage. I mean, it was the obvious conclusion of all the things I read here in the past year.
What is suspect is the timing of this "official" news.
I am quite sure that it has much to do with the tickets yet unsold ...
