Not brilliant at all - it has split the country right down the middle and stirred up a lot of ill feeling. Whichever side is crowing tomorrow morning is going to have a lot of problems to deal with.

Funny how all the tabloids assumed that this comment made him pro-leave but i think the key word in that statement is "might", one never knows with these things is what I interpreted his statement to mean.

As a UK resident with a commonwealth passport i was actually eligible to vote, but I couldn't as today was my moving-home day.I predict that the UK will remain, but I think it'll be close.

The market puke may have already taken place in the immediate aftermath of the leave win. Will be a wild trade though in the coming day.

"Take what you want and pay for it" - well, the Brexiteers have got what they want, and pay for it we certainly will.

Dolton, Charlie's neighborhood, voted 60% to 40% to leave. Keith's neighborhood, according to his postal code. has voted 51% to 49%....wonder how the boys voted. Richmond, where Mick may still be registered, voted overwhelmingly to stay.

I guess it's the same pattern as when we joined the EU (in Sweden) or refused the Euro: The big cities, the wealthy and the establishment are for (the EU) and the rest of the country against. So it's a novelty if the "leave side" wins because they tend to always have less resources at hand. At the bottom of this, I'm quite sure, which is perhaps unmentionable, is the immigration issue. Which is a big issue now in Europe. Basically because 65 million Asians, East Europeans and North Africans are constantly on their way seeking refugee in Western Europe. And the politicians, and the EU, seems to not be able to deal with this.

If democracy was to be ruled by the the financial market we might as well rule democracy out and let the stock exchange rule us. And short term financial market reactions doesn't tell much.

GBP is going down fast and shopping day has come! That might be the only good news (at least for people who earn their money in Euros, Dollars etc.)

I don't think that Cameron will survive this though. Not for long anyway.
