SuperHeavy Group Release Exclusive Footage

SuperHeavy released an exclusive preview of themselves in the studio and posted it on their Facebook page. Together, Mick Jagger, Damian Marley, A.R. Rahman, Dave Stewart, and Joss Stone give us a little taste of what’s to come on their SuperHeavy album.

This preview clip is very artistic and enjoyable to view. It will definitely have you on the edge of your seat, eager in anticipation for the official album drop date. The group, SuperHeavy, works together so fluidly that their worth ethic is evident in this video alone. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!

Joss Stone: My voice is just loud

The 24-year-old British singer shot to international fame in 2003 with debut record The Soul Sessions, and is currently part of eclectic group SuperHeavy.
Other members of the supergroup include The Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger, Eurythmics star Dave Stewart, reggae icon Bob Marley’s son Damian and Indian composer A.R. Rahman.
Dave initially approached Joss about the project as he is enamored with her distinctive soulful voice, although the modest songstress insists there’s nothing special about her vocals.
“I think it’s just loud and it tricks people. I honestly do, it’s just really loud,” she laughed in an interview with the BBC.
Meanwhile, Dave was eager to sing Joss’ praises. The 58-year-old rocker isn’t only impressed with Joss’ voice; he also admires her upbeat personality.
“Joss is one of those incredible spirits that’s always generous and always up, and a free spirit. But then she has a voice that is from who knows where?” he gushed.
Joss also took the time to chat about the moment she first heard about SuperHeavy, whose self-titled debut record arrives later this year with a fusion of rock, soul, reggae, blues, pop and Indian music. The singer received a telephone call from Dave about the project, and was completely shocked as well as honoured.
“That phone call was the best one. He may as well have asked me to go to the pub for a pint. He was like, ‘Hi Joss. I’m sat here with Mick, we’ve had this really fun idea, we’re gonna make a band. Do you wanna be in my band?’” she recalled, adding that she instantly agreed.
“Then a couple of months later we were in the studio, that’s so mad... We get a bit silly which is good.”

It´s the right move at this point of his career.
Instead of wasting ideas under his name (which will
be shredded anyway, at least here) he has fun in the
studio and is recording something. That´s great.
I will buy it.

Why will Keef hate this superheavy-project?

He did some releases after ABB, too:

"Pressure Drop" [www.amazon.com]
"Wingless Angles" [www.amazon.com]
"Life"
"Vintage Vinos" [www.amazon.com]

and some other stuff.

Charlie an Ronnie are busy with their own projects.

As the members of The Rolling Stones always are, between some touring all together as worlds greatest rock 'n roll band ever ...

Gazza, you are really right:

" ... One of the first on the album is Jagger singing in Urdu. He takes lead on Rahman's song "Satyameva Jayate," which translates to "the truth alone triumphs." ..." [www.billboard.com]
