Unfortunately this gig won't save the 100 Club despite all the fantastic efforts. Only ££££££ will. Not emotions. Great gig though.

Thanks for quoting me in a more intelligent way,for at least 50%.

Would be nice to have the set lists for the whole concert.

But I would at least be interested in the set lists from when Mick Taylor joined the stage (when the backing band and equipment were changed around).

Hi, this is my first post on this forum.

I grabbed the setlist that Ronnie, Mick, Dick and the harmonica player were using throughout the night. It was on top of the covered up piano which was behind Mick. Strangely, it doesn't mention "Going Up The River", but has "Juke" in it's place (maybe it's another title for the same song?)

Bye the way, 6 Music were doing a documentary on the potential closing of the 100 Club (someone next to me was talking to the presenter), but I asked one of the camera men what they were shooting for. He told me that it was for a documentary for Channel 4 (a British TV station for those of you ouutside the UK) and it would probably be broadcast some time in the new year.

Anyway, I thought you might like to see a scan of the full set-list. I hope it loads up ok.

Set lists...that's brilliant, guys.

Slight disagreement between the official set list and what was played perhaps, can anyone clarify?

And good news about the Channel 4 documentary, will look forward to that.

Cheers Rolling Hansie. It was only this night that I realised Dick Taylor was in the band before Bill Wyman.

Thanks, wiseguy. I've got vinyl and two versions of the CD as well as the version on Diary of a Band. There's also the '67 BBC version.
But now that he's opening shows with SDP with the song, it would be nice to see and hear the full version as done more than 40 years later.
Happy trails.

Concerning the 100club, this company is not going to save it I'am afraid.

Ain't it funny that we all post on this board because we love The Stones, and still there is
so much difference in our appreciation of the music. From what I see in those clips, I get
very much enthusiasm. Here's a bunch of guys playing from their hearts and bringing much
joy to the people who are present. It's music, straight from the heart. Not too much rehearsals
before the show (that's clear) but the result is just plain fun to see and hear.

I can only dream of The Stones going back to their roots like this.

Musically spoken it turned my nightmare into your dreams. smiling smiley

Classic Rock Awards Top 50 albums of the year 2010 - Ronnie Wood & SDP

Hey just saw that both Ronnie and SDP's albums made it into the top 50!

"The finest solo stone album ever"

I will definitely have to give Ronnie's album a good listen! Especially as it has; "Fancy Pants" & "Spoonful" which were fantastic on the night!

This review of Wilko Johnson on New Year's Eve speaks of the club as being definitely saved - but the identity of the sponsor is still a mystery.

"The 100 Club has also come back from the dead. Its planned closure, now averted, was capitalist cultural vandalism of the sort otherwise running unchecked through Soho, which was once a rock'n'roll hotbed."

Hmmm ... well it certainly alludes to the fact that it's 'been saved'. However, I was trawling the net, and I couldn't seem to actually find anything specifically saying that the campaign had succeeded, a sponsor or saviour(s) had been found; that kinda thang. But anyway, hopefully so.

Not far from the truth, imo.

I think it's a very strong, diverse and consistant album. Very few fillers, if there are any at all.

Yeah it is a great album, all the tracks compliment each other really nicely! Im actually a little surprised that its not higher, somewhere near 30 at least. But never mind! At least it got good recognition.

As for SDP, congratulations is in order I suppose! His album (All 17 tracks of it) is really refreshing! Its a great album too!

And we all got to see them both play live together with Mick!

At least listening to Ronnies solo-album I've never had the feeling other Stones were missing,
like I have whenever I listen to Keith' or Micks solo albums. He can manage on his own
much better than the Twins.
