Yesterday's Papers seems to be pretty popular around here, that's one I just don't get at all. Also, Memo From Turner, most of Black and Blue, and, unfortunately, most everything after Undercover. The only two post Undercover songs that I can think of that I like are Terrifying, and The Worst. And Terrifying isn't aging terribly well.

They just haven't done much in the last 25 years that I really care for.

And I know this is heresy as a Stones fan, but quite a bit of Exile I can take or leave too. Outside of Rocks Off, Shake Your Hips, Rip This Joint, Tumbling Dice, Sweet Virginia, Happy, and All Down The Line, it just doesn't do a lot for me. I still think it's a great album though, and don't buy into the whole they should have done a single LP argument. I have no problem skipping over the stuff I don't like.

I do not think there is a lot of love for You Got Me Rocking in here. Very cliched, paint by the numbers. I also felt like they were going for another concert anthem like Start Me Up and failed big time.

I just think it's horrible. I can't stand the subject matter, and have always felt that it was perhaps the most overrated song in their cannon. In recent years I've at least come to stomach the live versions.........which is a change from being thoroughly peeved that they're playing this thing again and thereby making it a waste of my ticket money. LOL

nope it's not, so I don't know that one. But I do understand the shock...course I'm also in the minority here of not believing EOMS is the Stones best album, and truly believe (GASP) that Voodoo Lounge is a far superior record..........go figure.

Beast of Burden, Shattered...just sort of boring. They were initially good, but unlike truly excellent Stones music, just doesn't hold up.

....and these songs in concert, IMHO, are cringeworthy.

I'd almost prefer hearing YGMR in concert...and that isn't saying alot!

yeah, they may not be a top-selling "music band" anymore, but their merch still goes for nice prices at collector's fairs... Yeeha!
