Referee stole Paraguay a goal, Valdez wasn't offside

The pass hit him in the stomach, it should have been a goal.

Correct about Valdez. But Cardozo was clearly offside.
Discussion could be if Cardozo was involved or not.
Tough decision to make for a referee in a split second.

Yes, true, TV cleared things up in halftime, was passive offside by Cardoso.

Crazy game now. Spain must have gotten a second penalty as the keeper clearly fouled Fabregas

Shit sandwich. This game is as boring as one of those 15-minute solos that Angus Young has been playing since 1978.

THIS IS HISTORIC FOR MY COUNTRY, FIRST TIME IN SEMIFINALS!!!
What a semifinal SPAIN vs GERMANY!!!! Face to face best teams in the world!!!!!!!
And now, Spain is going to play with a similar team, both attacking and deffending, incredible!!!
Let me tell Llargueras something!!! Did you see Pujol, Xavi, Joan Capdevilla, Piqué, Busquets, and Xavi Hernández listening the hymn from Spain, did that tell you something? All of them were born in Cataluña, and that region is Spain, and they are proud of that and they don´t tell us gilipolleces!!!

I believe that the refs have yet again greatly affected the final outcome of the game. There were a couple of crucial wrong calls that eventually helped Spain win the game.Hopefully Germans will take care of them.

Congrats Carlitos! The second and third best teams against each other. That will be interesting. But it was a very, very, very narrow escape!

Congratulations Spain. Good for Paraguay but it wasn't enough.

3 European teams, only one champion until now.
1 South American team, the glorious Uruguay, first champion of the world, maybe the last? hehe

See you on tuesday!

Congratulation Germany and Spain. Germany was superb today, what a game. I believe this will be the last job of Maradona as a coach. He is pathetic!
And again Mick at the stadium...

Referee helped Spain!!! jajaja, what about the first penalty to Spain to Villa, that was red card to the deffender and the referee should not repeat that penalty and after that when Xavi failed the goal keeper does penalty to Cesc Fábregas and expulsion or red card to goal keeper my friend, what are you talking about!!!
And Villa is the best goal player with 5!!!!!
Llarguer whoever read your political posting is this guy talking about, people like you nacionalism have created the worst war in our history and politically you are the most blackmailed people of the democracy, you are there the blackmail public money from the country and brainwash people with no brains and with brains as well!!!

Argentina v Germany: Joachim Low can’t get no satisfaction from Mick Jagger prediction
Jul 3 2010 by Our Correspondent, Daily Post

JOACHIM LOW can’t get any satisfaction from knowing Mick Jagger is backing Germany to beat Argentina in todays World Cup quarter-final.

The legendary Rolling Stones front-man was in Bloemfontein to watch the Germans dump England out of the competition last Sunday and was impressed enough to declare Low’s young side are his tip to go all the way.

Given his past record, it is not something Germany should be that comfortable with.

And Low is happy to steer away from good luck charms and ensure his players are totally focused on an eagerly-awaited tussle with Diego Maradona’s unbeaten outfit.

“We can’t bet any money on Mick Jagger’s predictions because he’s been wrong several times,” laughed Low.

“Instead we have to concentrate on what the Argentinian team have shown so far.

“They have won all their games, and in terms of numbers, they are almost incomparable in attacking players.

“They have some incredibly talented strikers who don’t even make it into the side, like Diego Milito, who had such a fantastic season at Inter Milan. Their firepower is remarkable.”

Eager to side-step the simmering tension between the two camps that has rumbled on for a couple of days since Bastian Schweinsteiger accused Argentina of being provocative, Low preferred to concentrate on the eagerly-anticipated contest itself.

Prior to the World Cup starting three weeks ago, the star names were all South American.

Now Germany have a couple in there as well in 20-year-old Thomas Muller, whose two second-half goals killed English hopes of a comeback, and Mesut Ozil, who has quietly established himself as one of the players of the tournament.

Low is very wary about putting too much expectation on the youngster’s shoulders given he must now go head-to-head with Lionel Messi.

“You cannot compare such players,” countered Low.

“Messi has a lot more experience. He has been with Barcelona for many years and has won the Champions League and La Liga titles.

“His dribbling is superb and loves to take on opponents one-to-one.

“Ozil is different. Short passing and combination play are his forte.

“He spots passes rather than takes the ball past people.

“This is his first tournament, although the matches he has played in South Africa have been very impressive and he shows no fear.”

Miroslav Klose is expected to win his 100th cap today.

Germany played an incredible game today, Maradona's crew looked like amateurs in comparison. Too bad Germany gets to play Spain in the semifinal, I would have loved to see those two teams in the final.

Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind...
