Susan Boyle does Wild Horses

...yup...she did it.....according to Perez Hilton......The first single off Susan Boyle's debut album is a somewhat unexpected choice.

The Britain's Got Talent runner-up and Internet phenomenon has done a cover of the Rolling Stones classic, Wild Horses, and it sounds gorgeous.

SuBo puts her own spin on the iconic song and it sounds/feels very much her.

We like it a lot!

What do U think????

Check it out (below)!

....you have to scroll down a bit to hear it.

Excellent, beautiful, just damn great. I like her, and I hate the people who make fun of her looks. She is a beautiful person inside.

I can't remember anyone making fun of her

I was laughing when I read this in todays papers. I thought there would be a thread about it, and that everyone would take the piss out of her. Lets wait and see how it sounds.

maybe I'm just drunk and sentimental - but....I liked that. It was quite haunting and operatic. Not too "diva-ish"

Very nice. I wish she hadn't changed the lyrics so much but it's still damn good.

Not bad, - if you just listen . .
Great voice.

Nice piano version, - a bit like Ryan Adams' wonderful Brown Sugar renition.

nothing wrong with it. She sounds so utterly vulnerable. I really like it.

Love it.
Will probably buy Susan's CD as the purity of her voice is so appealing.
And generally I am strictly rock and roll in such purchases.

Breathtakingly beautiful... Mick needs to bring her out on the next tour for a duet. I'm not kidding. Now that I think about it, her voice would be excellent as part of the backups to "YCAGWYW".

Beautiful cover version - expected to post some sarcastic remark after listening - but I find I don't want to knock it... hmm I must be mellowing with age

I only wish that she'd done this in the finals.

She'd have nailed it.

put that version on a my space page that pretends its coming from a hot looking chick and it she's an instant rage in the US- but as a normal looking person she's still a star and a great talent, but it's a shame what a difference what a persons looks can mean-

i liked the one by Jewel better-

Fabulous rendition, proves beyond doubt that the Stones can put out beautiful music that can be covered by other great artists. Thats why they will last for years beyond their time, just like the great masters, and who better to cover it in our day than Susan. What a voice.
