Ian Stewart memorial gig

I dont really know anything about this show. Never heard about it before.

What did they play? How big was it? Any photos/clips/booties?

Did anyone here go to this show?

No one here went to that show because it was a private show, not open to the public.

Probably about 300 friends and relatives at it. The set was all covers, songs Stu would have liked.

Cant tell ya HOW I know but the gig was videotaped. And there was no Stones compositions performed. It was all stuff Stu loved- old tunes (Chuck Berry and blues.) I believe theres a set list posted somewhere.

Ian Stewart passed away 12 December 1985 with the
The Ian Stewart Tribute at 100 Club held on 23 February 1986

Yes there is a picture of that gig in the book by Bill German, Pete Townshend is in that one

what an amazing set list. And I am sure it was filmed. I am sure the boys have their own copies. I bet it'll come out after they pass away. What an amazing show and how incredible it would have been.
Besides Pete Townshend who else was in attendance?
