The colours and layout seems so....childish and naive. I prefer the old tough IORR.

Yeah, I like the old way best too. Font is WAY too big. You can't see as many topics without having to scroll.

It will be harder to sneak quick peaks at work, looks to web-ish.

I still get the blue color and the old layout ;the main problem is the "subject "part which doesn't show all posts in the same time.

I never criticized the IORR website and forum before, but I have to say the older design was IMO better
Discreet, sober, efficient, not like this one where everything seems too big

Edith, it´s already available if you choose "my control center" - "forum settings" - "templates": here you take the "IORR lightweight" option-submit,and : the red "new" is back again...

now I've tried all options and it's still confusing me because the old design appears rather mutilated ... yes of course I'm completely straight ... we've had this before and could we please have our old layout back ... even if it is as a mere option in the settings ... and on top I will show my goodwill and will give myself a real try to adjust to this wild new design

In fact if you read carefully you'll notice that I said I like how BV went about this......

What the hell happened. The one night I stay sober and I wake up to this.NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.Their indeed was a riot the last time BV tried something like this and I predict if this isn't changed it will make the unrest in Iran look like a picnic in comparison.

I have been in meetings all day out of office. I noticed between meetings that a new version of the forum was live, and I pinned this thread. Since I had the classic view I did not see the problem. I went on and changed to the new view and wow - no need to drink or take acid, it's kind of surrealistic without dope...

The reason why you get this new layout by default is the fact that that is the future, how the forum core is from now on. I will explore it, and I hope you will do as well. Thousands of others do use the new forum layout so I guess there's a reason. Meanwhile, if you hate it, just go to MY CONTROL CENTER and change your FORUM SETTINGS to the IORR CLASSIC. Simple as that.

Give me a day or so to explore the new one, and I need some help from other brave people. I was on the top of Kilimanjaro last week, which means I am ready for new challenges. May be the new interface is tougher. I will see...

PS. The "logged in users" is back. It's just a feature that some times drop out during upgrades, and upgrades are done every now and then, for security and other reasons.

Has anybody managed to select "classic" and get something that actually looks like the old layout? Every time I try I get some hopeless mess with no lines between or around topics/posts and all the text in the posts is

Green Lady I selected Classic and got the mess you're talking about, but then I logged out and came back in and it was back to its old self, though without the user list at the bottom...

Maybe you need to be really techincal here and switch off then on again?

Yes, just changed to the old format, no problemo!
