73 with "Goats Head Soup" "Hide Your Love" and "@#$%&" were a kind of music I've never heard. And after 32 years I can hear GHS and it is so great as in 73.

The reviews of Stones fans who attended the shows confirm my impressions from the boots. Ronnies guitar work is lousy all over. In my opinion they should cancel the European leg of the tour until Ronnie is well again, or they should replace him by a new guitar player. If you do your job in the same manner as Ronnie does for the moment, you would be kicked off. I ever loved the guitar work of Ronn

The only criterium to be a Stone is in my opinion, that he fits to the music. And if I think that he enriched the last three studio albums and the last four tours, I can't help to say that he is a true Stone. I would like to see him as an official Stones. I like his style more than the style of Bill Wyman.

I don't mind the set list, the singing of Mick Jagger is great, also the guitar work of Keith, the drumming of Charlie Watts is better than ever, but I must say it once more: The lousy guitar work of Ron Wood, his many wrong notes, his boring nonsense solos bother me more and more. And nobody from the crew seems to give a critical review, so that it gets better. I never understood why Jeff B

Mediocre, and Ronnie is once more terrible, seldom he hits the right note ... it is simply sad.

... And it is enormous wet, it rains cats and dogs. MJ says, it is going to be their only rain show. There are few people in the stadium, an exclusive audience, which is allowed to see and hear the Stones rehearsing. On "Brown Sugar" Keith fingers slip on the wrong fret, because it is so rainy; otherwise there are no mistakes, and Ronnie is playing guitar very well.

I read in the booklet that the "Tumbling Dice" version is exactly the one of Stripped Companion, which was also officially edited as single. It begins with piano and Mick during any rehearsing session and slips then into a live version after the second verse. Both versions - the rehearsing version and the live version are great - but it would have been better, if they would have decided

"Rockn'Roll Circus", the bass-based sound; also the version on the boot "Better than the Real Rebirth". Keith begins with the classical riff of the studio version and slips then into the "normal" live riff, simply great. First and last time I hear Keith beginning JJf in this manner.

Many thanks for these presents. Though I never liked "Emotional Rescue", and also the long version is nothing but disco crap in my opinion. But the long version of "She was Hot" is the better version of a great Stones song from "Undercover".

Sloppy thing: Ron Wood is named "Woods" in the description of "Through the Lonely Nights" exactly like in the SAT 1 program last month. Sad, sad, sad.

The best: The 61/62 tapes from "Little Boy Blue" today. I didn't know that there are tapes from this home sessions. The worst: don't know, it is always quite good here.

"It's Only Rock'n Roll" is a great album, it contains no weak song, wonderful ballads (If You Really wanna be My Friend, Till the Next Goodbye, Time Waits for No One), hard hitting rockers (If You Can't Rock Me, I?s Only Rockn' Roll, Dance Little Sister, Ain't to Proud to Beg), bluesy material (Short and Curlies) and the unique Luxury and Fingerprint File, which

Don Was is the right man for the right band. He "understands" the music of the Stones more than any other producer. He produced Voodoo, BTB and ABB, the sound is all over great and focused on the guitar work. And also important particularly on ABB: The fantastic drumming of Charlie Watts is loud and clear and prominent in the mix.
