My impression was negative as I heard it first. The studio version was a little boring, the guitar (I think it was Harvey Mandel, am I right?) was too much in the backround of the mix. Then I heard it on "Love You Live" and it sounded great. Ronnie did a fine guitar work, he gave the song a new structure and atmosphere. On "Hot August Summer Night" the song was destroyed due t

"Hey Negrita" is Ronnies masterpiece. The live versions are better by far than the studio version which is also great. Ronnie plays rhythm and solo, one of my fav songs of the Stones.

Yes, and the great version of JJF from Johnny Winter during the "Rockpalast Nacht" in Essen/Germany in 1979, a live television programme from 10 pm till 4 in the morning ... great rock and blues times, never matched today.

Great song, particularly in the version 75/76, where it is connected with "Get Off Of My Cloud".

I think that the adventure called The Rolling Stones should never end. But I see a decline since the Bridges to Babylon tour, too. The most prominent decline is Ronnies guitar work. The brilliance of the others can't compensate this. Two conditions must be fullfilled if the Stones want to have a future 50+. They must solve the problem Ronnie, and they should concentrate on their roots - the

I don't think that the Stones has reached the top of their career, concerning the musical quality. They are all great blues musicians, and I hope that they have a future 50+. So they are free from any commercial hindrances and can do what they want. If I hear the numerous blues takes on the boots and the flip sites of their singles in the last 15 years and if I remember "Exile" and

Heard this song first time now, on "Rarities". What a great tune, other bands would build their carreer on such a fantastic composition. But if I read the booklet: "could be from the psychedelic phase" or such a crap, good night, sleep tight. Many of us could write a better text about the Stones, cause we know what we are talkin'about ...

Searching the "Maifeld" in the German town Mannheim, in '98 I think. I was too late, the Stones had already opened their gig, I could hear them loud and clear like never before, the highway was empty, no car, only the music of my band, but I didn't find my way to heaven ... So I got out of my car on the empty highway and heard the greatest version of "Out of Control"

I'm sorry, for the moment I hear Hollywood 11/8/05. The band is all over ok, Keith does his guitar sometimes in an extraordinary manner, but Ronnie is still terrible. It seems to me that the guitar he hold in his hands is the strangest thing in the universe for him. If Ron won't improve his guitar work, it is better to keep him out of the mix. Sorry, it is a repetition, but his guitar w
