They have an enormous back catalogue of which the released songs are only a little part. Some songs made it on the next album, some not ...

May I repeat that question? It is rumored that Mick Taylor was leaving the Stones after shortening his solo on "Time Waits for No One". Does anyone know if there is any studio boot which contains other versions of TWFNO? Thanks, RJ.

Someone said in this forum that Mick Taylor was leaving the Stones because of the shortening of his solo on "Time Waits for No One" Is there any source-tape on any boot that contains the complete solo?

The studio boots contain a lot of traditional blues and spontaneous blues jams, I would say about 50%. The Boot "Back in the USA" (rehearsing sessions of '78 tour) contains about 80% bluesy songs and an incredible version of Chuck Berrys "Back in the USA".

What do you think about a "Nothing but the Blues" album? On the studio outtake boots you can hear, that the Stones have a great blues feeling, it's their music. Hear "Place Pigalle", "Back in the USA", "Jamming with Stew" or "The Woodstock Rehearsals".

In the last weeks I heard some studio outtakes boots like "The Woodstock Rehearsals" or "Back in the USA" or "Jamming with Stew". You can hear Ronnie doing a phantastic guitar work (especially in the different Blues Jams). So he did on "It's a Gas in Paris" all over, the complete soundboard recording of the live gig in Paris 1976 (The version of YCAGWY
