QuoteThe GR I think the recent Charlie Is Good Tonight 11CD+1DVD bootleg box is about as good as it's going to get for this. Yeah, I would have thought that at least 3-4000 hard core fans could have been interested in a live release from '69. But I guess the time for this is finally running out. No wonder the Stones are holding back on classic live shows. When the appeite for this ki

Just recieved it. It's absolutely wonderful! If your'e looking for info about the RS on tour in '72 and can't find it in this book, then it's not worth looking any further. This book got it all! The pictures, stories, interviews, info about recordings, news clips, fun facts, what Jagger said between songs... -anything!! Thank you very much Erwin

QuoteRobertJohnson ...The band once again confirms that they are at their best when they focus on the blues... I totally agree. On this show Keith and Ronnie play more like the guitar trading Keith and MT used to do. It's a much more defined lead and rythm approach. Ronnie really get the opporunity to shine and he does. In the end of JJF he play on full capasity and shows how great he really

Wow Ronnie shines on this! What a great mix and sound. Now, lets hope the next release from this area will be Memphis '78 which is very powerful too.

Quote24FPS QuoteHonestman Quote24FPS ...I think we're getting near the back of the vault, unless they're holding onto Knebworth, or Paris '76. A better version of Paris '67, or anywhere in Europe. A previously unknown tape of their American tour '66. I'm so grateful. I would add one show from the always forgotten European Tour '70. Is it really any different

The "new" version of Sway has a better mix/production than the original from the "Snakes" album.

I'd say Hyde Park '69,and all other festivals are just partly documentet or none existent. Also the London shows in december '69 was not a part of the American tour. Nothing from 1970 or winter tour '73(sick!)From the Vegas era I don't have overview, but isn't the last tour with Charlie just partly documented? Cant remember hearing the slow version of Brown Sugar on

QuoteErik_Snow Quotejohnh why doesn't "Ladies and Gentlemen" count? Because they didn't really peak before very late june or maybe one should say july 1972. ANd because the sound isn't that good at all. The sound is aweful, and it still sounds like a bootleg.

QuoteTaylor1 Last shows with Billy Preston and Ollie E.Brown.Last shows where Charlie had a crewcut.Last shows before the punk /disco craze.Last shows where Keith may have been on heroin In some ways the last show of pretty much anything that had with rock'n roll to do. A milestone in stones history, and a great closure of a band heading for a new direction.

On some of the songs the instruments sounds distant. Also between songs on Ya Yas one can hear the same type of audience recording in slightly better quality. Hate it when they mix the audience recording into songs. It t
