Ai, its a beautiful city ... but for all visitors, there are major MAJOR capital works going on at the eastern end of the city (just before the bridge to the airport) and also IN the main city area near the river (Elizabeth Quay project). All these works mean that TRAFFIC in and around the city is a nightmare. Wellington St (where Perth Arena, the venue The Stones are playing) is also having work

Quotewinos Phew $510 per seat....man that's dedication to look at 70 year olds up close! I was 5 rows from the front in 2003 in Melb which does give you a completely different perspective - you hear lots of banter between the band. I SAT on stage at Enmore see below posted on IORR review below.....Keiths side so I KNOW what they look like (like, well....ME!) - I am there coz they bloody

The Rolling Stones are coming Down Under next year and, unlike their previous visits in 2003 and 2006, Perth is unlikely to miss out this time. Today the legendary English rockers were unveiled as the first concert at the newly revamped Adelaide Oval on March 22, 2014. Australian promoter Michael Gudinski's Frontier Touring and Los Angeles-based partner AEG Live will announce more conc

Trying to buy a couple of t-shirts thru the Stones official merchandiser. When you open up the Store and click on Australia as your preference, absolutely nothing happens. I can see and put the items I want in my Cart on the US store but that won't allow shipping to Australia. The items I want are NOT even in the UK store. Thoughts? Rgds Rod

So flame me - I like the album New York (LIKE - not LOVE) and a handful of other tunes, but I just never got any other Lou Reed. I CERTAINLY could never get his legendary status. So he's rude, or stubborn or surly. If that makes him a legend so is my Aunt Amy. I could never listen to an album all the way thru, thats for sure. Sorry he has passed. Especially feel for his family. But his

I am one who, whilst 'searching' for a musical identity to grasp (notwithstanding my parent's efforts to get me to like The Seekers!) found The Stones doing Route 66 - on a crystal set from my bedroom one evening in about 1965. For me - hook, line and sinker. To this day the best band in the world. I love them, addicted to them (Springsteen is my only other vice - LIVE he is th

Love both Exile and The Beatles. So much so I just sprung cpl hundred bucks for a mono vinyl set of the first pressing of The Beatles. BRILLIANT sounding album, that yes, has a cpl of dubious songs (incl #9) but when it's ON, it's really ON! Birthday, WHilst my Guitar, Revolution, Good Night, Glass Onion (superb, totally under-rated song!), Helter Skelter, Julia, USSR... just unbelieva

I like the cover Going to a Go-Go, quite like Time is on My Side and really REALLY like Under my Thumb, dislike the rest, but all of it sounds T-H-I-N to me, just not enough punch. TERRIBLE production even by '80s standards. Hampton better, no doubt. Rod

A young army Private was home on leave. He was talking to his father about his experience at jump school whilst learning to be a paratrooper. "Dad' he says, "on my first jump, I froze at the door of the plane. A big black master sergent standing behind me said that if I didn't jump he was going to cram 12 inches of dick up my ass." "Well, did you jump?" as

I for one would rather hear EVERYTHING, given the paucity of new material for about 3 decades!, and decide for myself what I like or what I can do without. If they HAD cut VL down to 10 or so songs, then all of us would be missing SOMETHING that we may have enjoyed, because NONE of us can agree on the 10 that should be in the 'final cut"

I love how we're all such successful musicians that we can advise the Stones on what/how they should play We mostly seem to STATE what we believe as fact, not opinion If Darryl 'wasnt cutting it', I truthfully dont think he'd be playing with the Stones
