QuoteMickschick QuoteMathijs QuoteEdith Grove So I said: "Hey man, you a Deadhead?" My response to that: "Geez, dude!" If Obama can win the Nobel Peace Price, you surely should win the Nobel Literature price. Mathijs Hey Mathijs, I know you believe you are the man with no mistakes! But here again, opps! Not perfect! I think you meant Peace PRIZE! So when you get on

QuoteROPENI Obviously his comments are full of it,but that doesn't take away his greatness as a drummer. Nobody wants to play with an *ss no matter how great they are. I never thought I'd see the day where Dickie betts was thrown out the ABB but it happened.

Remember this is the same guy that used to bad mouth Jack Bruce too. No wonders Baker is always crying broke. Maybe word was out long time ago that HE is the d*** and nobody wanted to play with him. I remember reading a story along time ago that he put an add in a newspaper looking for work.

I Always said it was in my top 5 Stones Albums. Just love it. It's been in my car since it came out. In fact this is the only Uni version that I bought so far. I don't see the harsh statements at all. Great R n R in all forms. I hope the next CD is ABB part 2.

One of the reasons that The Stones are so great is that every album has it's own feel, style, mood, texture, production etc.... Their songs are not interchangable with each album. If someone heard Can't You Hear me Knocking for the first time and you ask them what album it's from by playing maybe 5 Stones albums (and of course not playing CYHMK from SF)you know they wouldn't p

QuoteWho's Driving Your Plane? This movie was very inspiring and fun to watch. Unlike Shine A Light, this shows the true nature of human beings. Shine A Light is full of plastic people! Clinton for example! Stones have sold out and could learn a lesson from watching these two guys!!! Also, where are all the Metal acts that have made it and are touring now. Slash and Lars spoke about how

The Jazz Crusaders opened for the Stones at Buffalo's Memorial Aud. June 15th 1975. That was Larry Carlton's band at the time.

HTW is one of those crystal clear guitar songs. Perfect in every way. Live, it just seams to be a mish mosh of garbled notes. I have to blame this one on Keith.

Clapton of late has become a very predictable guitarist. He lost most of his improvisation skills and part of his smooth technique. We know that The Stones will be touring. Many of us attend multiple shows. My wife and I usually hit around 5 or 6. With the bad economy and high price tickets it's hard. I usually sell some junk on ebay or if I get some overtime I'll put it away. Two good tickets, hotel, and food usually add up around $1000 for each show. To me it's worth every penny. This is what I love so why n

Brian was kicked out before he died. Even if he was still alive he would have no baring on The Stones whatsoever. Just like any other party memeber to leave. Once you're out you are out for life.

Quotetatters QuoteMore Hot Rocks Again no Moody Blues? Come on The Rock Hall hates anything that smacks of prog rock. It took Pink Floyd four years to get in. Genesis, like I said, has been eligible for 15 years. Jethro Tull, Yes, ELP, and King Crimson never even get nominated. I Agree Tatters. But why is that? The Pretenders and B 52's make it in before ELP and King Crimson? i don'

Quotemccparty Perhaps the Stones should just set-up shop in Las Vegas and have everyone come to them (kind of like Celine Dion). Seems more appropriate given the state of their latest shows. Why even make a comment like that. if you don't like them dont go.

QuoteKoen Actually, I don't know who Dunn, Kaye or Jamerson are Entwistle I never liked, way too busy and an ugly sound (IMHO). I prefer bass players who are more in the background, and add to the rhythm and groove of a song (Wyman of course being a great/excellent example). Carol Kaye plaed with everyone, yes everyone. Especially in the 60's in the studio. She was like the Jimmy
