I would like to add the 1995 club shows. And the Paradiso 2nd show in particular. That was a great show (and ditto setlist) And also Toronto 1975 complete. (my favorite 1975 show) All the shows mentioned by you all would be fantastic to hear in an official release for shure!

One of things I admire in Bowie is that he takes artistic risks. You never quite now in which direction he is going. I like that approach. The downside is that some albums are not good for me. But in the end I like the way he works.

Yes,they were a great band indeed! Very stonesy as you say! A newly released overview (The Best Of J Geils Band)is just released by EMI. If you don't have any music by them, you might want to check this out! Just listening to Sanctuary (again), great song. I'm rediscovering them again, the last few months.
