Nice post Rockman

Just bought Jim Jarmuchs Stranger Than Paradise. Watched it at the Movies when it came out back in the early eighties.

Thanks Rockman for the post. It would be terrific to see Waits and Richards team up again at least for a couple more songs on the next Tom Waits platter. I wonder if "Good dogwood" is on any Tom Waits bootlegs...Have you ever heard any non-official stuff that has them both on it?

Thanks to Baboon Bro and Rockman for reminding me on those great Tom Waits- quotes on Keith Richards and the Stones. Tom Waits is really one of the greatest artists and songwriters of our era, and his words are always inventive and straight to the point. It is such a pleasure to read his descriptions of sessions with Keith Richards.

I will listen to Tom Waits´album Real Gone for the rest of the day. It´s a treat.

Kind regards,
Gunnar

Tom Waits can really talk up a storm about Keith. There is a sequence in one of the recent DVDs. Can not rememeber which one, where Keith and Ron are backstage with Tom.
On "rain Dogs" I thought Keith's contribution was excellnt; maybe because it was more natural. But on "Bone Machine" that song "That Feel" is lousy. Yes, it has the two big names, but come on..it bites.
