Always wondered why they never did this one live in the "modern era" . Micks solo version from Webster Hall is a ripper. Other than Mick maybe the others simply do not warm to it. From memory I do remember an article with Jimmy Rip saying they had to really push Mick to do it.

I know many fans in hindsight wished the boys never came out of the Nellcote Basement . But they had to and this overall was very different both in sound and feel . A Truely Great album . To me the sound and mix varies greatly over many LP AND CD pressings. I think the Virgin collectors CD release to be amongst the Best. Like all Stones releases it does sound better played quite loud !!

One of my first books and still one of the best .Very clever how it mixed up glossy color pics including mag covers and then matt Black and white to mimic newspaper clippings.
