I don´t care about that so called brickwalled-mastering ... I liked it on the last release. My guess for the next releases is for sure atlantic city 89 (nothing new, of course, i bought it regulary in a shop here in germany back in 1990 - it will sound like "flashpoint" after the remastering!), a club gig from the 90s and leeds´71 (as one of the real "famous" boots). No

AC´89 will definately be one of the new releases, because it belongs to the "top 6" of the most known and common rs-bootlegs ... but hopefully not the next

He held a "formal speech" in front of the usa-president after one hot song and is 68 years old! What do you expect? His performance was very good, imo, and that´s the clue! I wouldn´t even care if they just performe 90 minutes ...

I think Johnny had this version from the Stones in mind: "... mamama, mamama, mamamajajajajaja ...."

Perhaps this was already posted before, just discovered it yesterday: Johnny kicks ass, great rocking version. A while ago I read, that Johnny heard an early Stonesversion of this song in 1973 and recorded it for his LP. Must be true, because this version is very simular to a well known stones outtake! Keep rockin ....

I was always complaining about that too, such a great performance, but I hate this muddy mix, no real stereo imo, Mick Jaggers voice is burried deep down in the middle of nowhere, high notes are completely missing! I doubt they had no chance to remix the sound, I suspect this was the way it should sound, from an "artistic" angle! If some had an effort to mix a better version I would

Obviously some folks here have definately another hearing (in a biological sense) than me. This is the only explanation for me why people complain about the sound of the new hampton release .... I love it and, to my ears, the improvement is massive, can´t get into this "compressed" or "discompressed"-sujet"! But I´m just human, so perhaps I´m a candidate for an otolo

Ah, yes, the new single .... IMO it is a little bit boring, no hook, no bridge ... "Do you think I really care" is, IMO, the much better song. Wonder why they choose this one as a single ?!?!?

Believe me - the sound is faaaaaaaaar superior to anything we have had on "real" bootlegs, just great and the reason for me to change my opinion about the 81-tour ....

Got it, mp3, just listening now on my iphone: 1. Far far superior sound to my "real" bootleg, great mix, great bass, you can clearly hear all instruments, good stereo-seperation! 2. Ron Wood is pretty good, now you can hear his guitar! great! 3. Yes, I was disappointed, that it wasn´t leeds71 or a clubgig, never listend to "still life" for about 15 years, but THIS IS

QuoteRolling Hansie Great pictures. Thanks. Was the concert in a church ? Big organpipes in the back. Looks like a great venue. Yes, it is in a protestant church in dortmund, not a "deactivated" one, this one is still alive, with church services, etc. The church is in a quarter with many immigrants and "poor" people, they want to go on as a church with events like these, th

Quotecrumbling_mice He needs to go on a diet Come on man, this is no kindergarden. Do you really think the special Keith/Ron/Mick J. - "diet" makes them look more younger or even more healthy. No way! Mr. Taylor doesn´t look like a rock star because he has decided for himself that he is no rockstar or just don´t want to be a rockstar! In my eyes he´s a very relaxed person that doesn´t

Just got home from the concert in Dortmund .... cool and strange venue, a protestant church, very old. Very nice and entertaining show, Mick Taylor was great, they even played brown sugar! Ben Waters played the boogiewoogie on the church organ . Mick is cool, looking like a relaxed independed gentlemen. got my signature on gyyyo from him: "god bless abkco", funny guy, talking gentle

I will be in Dortmund next week and lookign very forward! My question, because it´s my first time seeing Mick Taylor (and of course Ben Waters) live: Is there a chance to get an autograph from Mr. Taylor (would love to have that on my GYYYO-Boxset!) after the show? Is this common? Do you have experiences? THX in advance!
