I think Mick is denied the crown fo the band he deserves. Keith's adoration and worshipping is cute, but come ON... Mick is the essence of so much of what sets the Stones from everyone else onstage and in the studio. So "JaggerFan" is my way of saying "He's the Boss"! Plus I'm a fan of 2 1/2 discs of his!

After hearing the SW Monitor Mixes - thank GOD Mick wrote new words and sung it. SW isn't my fave, but I do like Terrifying and AHYS.

He died before the bulk of their current fanbase was even born. The Stones have moved on. Mick Taylor. Ron Wood. And from what I've read about Brian Jones, he was a real genuine a$$hole in many ways.

The thing I don't like about MR - trying to decide which version I like best. Very frustrating. It is a centrepiece of any show which has it (though of 6 shows I've seen - only ONCE did I get it - in 1989 when it COOKED!) I don't think it's done nearly as well today as it was in '89/'90. Two of my faves are 7th of July & Tokyo (Cold Blue Steel). But

I put it a notch below the much more readily available Bridges to Babylon DVD on man levels. Yeah, it's got an acousitic b-stage, Robert Cray and Bo Diddley, but other than that, it's all bettered elsewhere in my opinion (thought I put it a level above Giants Stadium for setlist).

Happy Jack... I know exactly what you men. There was a guy at my old job who was a complete Beatle freak, wore it like his own badge, and daily told me how superior they were to the Stones - as if he in some way was, therefore, better than me. I went through an intense Beatle fandom (reto-active, of course) when I was 12-14, soaking it all up myself etc. In fact, it was the Beatles that g
