So, in the song 'Bitch' Mick sings...."I'm feeling hungry, can't see the reason, just ate a horse meat pie." Do people really eat horses?? If not, what the heck is horse meat pie?

Oh, there will definitely be a 2009 tour. Don't know how big or how small, but if ya don't believe me, ask Keno over at Gasland. His inside sources have already confirmed the 2009 tour "privately."

Stones-relic wrote: "The Tuesday, 27 May 08 show is on NPR." OMG! When is that gonna be on NPR, or did I already miss it? I got of boot of the first time I saw The Raconteurs in Philly so I'm really hoping one pops up for the May 27th show, and if not, I would at least record it off of NPR. That show was such an in-your-face, ass-kicking, spine-tingling performance that I wi

Man I hate it when people shout and talk instead of listening to the band perform. I too experienced this at The Raconteurs show on Tuesday night at the 9:30 Club in DC. Jack White and the band were on fire and I couldn't understand why these people weren't paying close attention to what was going on up on the stage! WTF! I really felt like telling them to shut up, but instead, I &qu

I think they played so well because they cancelled the Atlantic City show to rest up for the Beacon Theater performances.

Hey stone-relics....I've got tickets to the 27 May DC show too! Just got 'em in the mail yesterday. Unfortunately I had to get my tix from e-bay since the show was sold out by the time I got thru to somebody on the phone, just 7 minutes after they went on sale. I'm soooooooooo psyched to see The Racateurs again. Last time I saw them was in Philly, the day after the rescheduled

The SAL CDs kick ass! And what about the special guests? (although I could have lived without Christina, but I was pleasantly surprised by her contribution). The Stones aren't the "bad boys of rock n roll" anymore. They're too old. They are just performers. If you're looking for that "bad boy sound", I guess you'll be happiest listening to your boots f

It just doesn't get any better than Let It Loose. Wish I wasn't at work right now so I could give that song a listen. Oh well, I've got Exile in my car so I'll give it a listen on my lunch break. I love listening to Exile after smoking some kind bud! But the weed will have to wait til tonight though.

Listening to my friend's internet radio show on radiovolta.org. His show is every Monday from 7-9 pm EST and he always opens with a Stones song. Tonight he opened with Prodigal Son and then played Keith's Run Rudolph Run.

I used to think Rock N Roll was dying too. But as long as there are restless kids and cheap electric guitars, rock will always live. It is harder to find the good stuff these days. Not sure why. Sure there is less of the good stuff, but there are some great groups out there, i.e., The Raconteurs. And no, the White Stripes are not a brand new band, but Icky Thump kicks my ass everytime. And

Thanks once again Monkeyman07! I think this is the only show in my collection that will have Factory Girl in the setlist. Granted, Factory Girl is not one of my favorite tunes, but it will be cool to have this in my collection. Thanks again for sharing Monkeyman07.

The best boots I've heard from the ABB tour so far are the Hershey and Houston shows from 2005. Both very good recordings and The Boys gave very spirited performances on both nights. And as far as the '81 tour goes, Hampton 81 is my favorite.
