People, are you able to help me identifying the track sometimes referred to as "The Collector", said to have been cut around 1978? This thing is source of big questions, lately! Ciao, Chris

People, Sky satellite italian bouquet just went into a commercial for the documentary "Inside: Rolling Stones in Rio", to be broadcasted on 24th september at 11pm. I've checked their website and found a couple interesting things. a) On the left side of the screen, in the video column, click on the pic of the Rio stage being built, and you'll see a clip featuring part

People, since the subject was so intriguing, and considered I knew the Stones thanks to "Steel Wheels" (as anybody being around thirty nowadays), I couldn't keep myself from nailing down the comparaison, but you need to have italian reading skills. Ciao, Chris

People, lately, a thread discussed how Blondie Chaplin is about to release a new album, kicking defeneatly out the already finished (and supposedly excellent) "Fragile Thread". I can't now find the topic, but rumors strongly mantain that unreleased album to be heavily bootlegged. If anyone could provide an helping hand, here or by writing privately, I'd be grateful.

People, as I just pulled it out my player, here comes some info on the DVD "Under Review 1962 - 1966", to be released on 8th august in the US, by MVD. As an independent product, this 90 minutes documentary doesn't feature interviews with band members. The story is told by music writers (Keith Altham, Chris Welch and Nigel Williamson), biographers (Terry Rawlins and Alan Cla

People, as one of the proud reviewers who put his eyes at first on Wem's work, I strongly suggest you to follow where Ronnie' Smile led Wendy Ellison Mullen. If this can look a bit partisan (a bit of my thoughts appears even on the back cover), please consider that the book ended up at 1st place in the 13th annual Intern'l Writer's Digest Awards... Have a good reading

Hi everybody, and, first of all, thanks for the great stuff provided here to Stones fans. Then, here goes my (almost) odd request. Does anybody has Satisfaction with the mighty Radio Luxembourg intro (think it was originally on an oddities vinyl bootleg)? Not that it adds anything done by the Stones, but it's great memories and a wonderful evidence of radio days that won'

Hi everybody, more than music (which is not bad at all, however), Chris Jagger upcoming album impressed me for some lyrics. These are the starting verses of first track, "It's amazing (what people throws away)": They say experts can analyze a man By searching through his garbage can If he's a Rolling Stones or a Beatles fan That's the game It's amazing (wha

...to consider it a keeper: 1) The screw-up on the Charlie kick-in for the last verse of Thru and Thru (understood, now, why it did not end on FF!?); 2) The 2am piano on Fancyman Blues; 3) Mick's howl booming from on channel to another at the beginning of the Harlem Shuffle's NY mix; 4) The scratch welcoming Mixed Emotions IV; 5) The handclapping underlining Tumbling Dice

Liddas, the Stones got the gold medal, two weeks ago, with a beginning figure between 40.000 and 45.000. Anyways, as it concerns this week's chart, here we go: 1. Ligabue 2. Biagio Antonacci 3. The Rolling Stones Loredana Berté, having declared to italian media "I'm ready to challenge the Stones for the roof"... #14. Well done Lory. Ciao, Chris

KRiffhard, agree... but he's been able to put together some 200.000 people for a show in an old airport where everyone complained because no one heard anything... but they all were there. And you want him not able to debut at #1 (in a chart where "deputy crock of shit" Max Pezzali has been at #1 too)? Ciao, Chris

People, in the Strat pack Ronnie looks like having (and giving) big fun. Especially in the maxi final encore, when he urges Paul Rodgers to go in front of the stage and sing. On the Willie Nelson one, my thoughts are different. Keith looks like the Keith we always knew, on a personal point of view, but it doesn't seems, to me, he's enjoying that much the situation. Perhaps, a c
