yes I subscribe to a news server. I just registered at dimeadozen and downloaded BitTorrent. This is new to me - seems to take quite a few hours to download a concert. Downloading from alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.m is always faster, but in my newsgroup reader (meganetnews, Agent) the second Fenway show files are incomplete.

Hmm, maybe they didnt come through on meganetnews for some reason. Mine worked fine! There is another version posted now, maybe it came through.

BitTorrent is great...but can be slow. From the newsgroup I had it downloaded and burned to CDs in about 20 min!

dimeadozen doesn´t work for me :-( can I find it somewhere else?

What´s wrong with dimeadozen - have you tried? Well, the other source is the newsgroup mentioned above, but this one does not work for me.

By the way: I listen to the new album right now - via Winamp (thanks to another post here). It´s so great, it´s gonna be number one!

dimeadozen works fine!!! You just need the software to download and decode bit torrents and register on the site - here you go!!!

But I think there will be a mp3 of the show soon - stonefan, you've got it?

I've just downloaded Fenway 23 from DoD.
Flac Upload converts it nicely to wav
but, and this is a BIG but easy to
fix big, you have to go into your
file and add a "c" to the end "fla"
tag at the end of every track, as
this is missing. Very simple to
do, and that's why some of you
may not be able to convert it.

You get a good sense of the show,
can hear how the boys do the set.
It's an exciting high energy
Stones performance. The
audience is really
pumped up, and singing
along, which may upset
some listeners, but hey
it's a boot dudes! These
guys have a right to sing,
clap and cheer, why wouldn't
we do that at a Stones concert?
This tape may very well not be
an enduring classic, true, because,
sitting at home, we may not want
to hear them do that over and over
again, but that's life. If you
want to hear what the show was like,

These drunken boys are quite funny actually, they sing way out of tune, shout the refrain too early or too late and add some strange lyrics now and then. This is a recording you surely only listen to once!
