Loredana Bertè says "I'm ready to replace the Stones from the 1st position of the chart"
I can't stand it.
I'm ready to buy another copy of ABB.

People,

not to disappoint any Stones fella, but if you know Italy enough, with Ligabue out, this week will be the last one on the roof. He can kill everything moving around...

Ciao,
chris

Chris you're right. No doubt the boring Ligabue is going on top of the charts, here. But Two weeks on n.1 for the Stones in Italy is really a remarkable accomplishment for the boys (Italy isn't at all a Stones country - even though I think that the great concert in Milan two years ago drew a lot of new fans to the band).

"got to be worked on
don't have no bark nor bite..."

Ligabue is a crock of shit.

KRiffhard,

agree... but he's been able to put together some 200.000 people for a show in an old airport where everyone complained because no one heard anything... but they all were there.

And you want him not able to debut at #1 (in a chart where "deputy crock of shit" Max Pezzali has been at #1 too)?

Ciao,
Chris

italy isn't a stones country, i think italy will be a stones country, if they play in rome at the fori imperiali,
ligabue is not bad, but the stones are much better and italy there aren't many stones fans, but good fans!

ciao amici ci vediamo a roma

Loredana Bertè has quite a few problems now, but used to be a truly great singer.

I would have loved to hear some of her best songs re-arranged keeping that italian 80's rock sound out of the studio.

As far as no. 1 here in Italy is concerned, you reach no. 1 with 20,000 copies sold.

Liddas,

the Stones got the gold medal, two weeks ago, with a beginning figure between 40.000 and 45.000.

Anyways, as it concerns this week's chart, here we go:

1. Ligabue
2. Biagio Antonacci
3. The Rolling Stones

Loredana Berté, having declared to italian media "I'm ready to challenge the Stones for the roof"... #14.

Well done Lory.

Ciao,
Chris
