Saw him a couple of years ago, and it was a great and, for me, easily as good an experience as when I first saw him 40 years ago, but in a different way. The guy is in his 80s, he played a major part in inventing rock as we know it, and he's still out there doing it. Go see him and enjoy it for what it is. The man is a legend. Period. PS come back to the UK soon Chuck Peter

Sad news. Great musician. I only saw him perform once; at a local working men's club in the 1970s. He was playing with his band the Diamonds, and played a selection of Shadows tunes and his hits with Meehan. Great player and a true gent, as I recall. Peter

I saw them a few years ago when they were billed as Doors of the 21C and had the guy from the Cult singing. I thought they were pretty good. I see they are playing the Uk (Wolverhampton announced so far) with the Royal Philharmonic. I'm quite tempted. Peter

For me this was my 17th Who show and the best I've seen for a long time, perhaps since the 70s. It worked becasue it was more of a performance than a straight Who concert. It was everything Quadrophenia should be: interesting, challenging, sad, rocking and a celebration for all of us of a great band and a great rock opera. Almost didn't go to this; but pleased I did, On Tuesday night I

I was there Saturday night. Beck was on top form and stole the show for me. I never thought I'd see him play Hi Ho Silver Lining; great atmosphere, everyone singing along at the end. I thought Moon River was great. Peter

Hi I went to see them in Brid on friday night. First time I have ever seen them; my son and daughter (in their 20s) persuaded me to go along. It was great and unlike anything I have ever seen before.

Yes Go. I saw them a few years ago for the first time in 30 years and they were great. They played a mixture of very early material and stuff from S F Sorrow. Phil May was still awesome as a front man. I have tickets to see them play S F Sorrow in Salford in February and can't wait. Peter

Hi I understand the show is now back on. It is now advertised again on the Hackney Empire website but they seem to be promoting it rather than the original promoter. I understand that the Pretty Things are support act! Peter

Hi I have now heard from the promoter who confirms that the concert will not happen. He has also promised to refund my money (will keep chasing it up to ensure that he does; I have also informed my credit card company) So looks like there will be no further Chuck Berry London at the moment. So Charles if you can help get Chuck back to London in the near future that would be great! Best wishes Pet

Hi I also exchanged at around 8.30 at the bottom of the escalator. I had a £100 seat in Level 4 and was given a ticket in Block A1, Row A. Yes the front row! This is the closest I have been to the Stones for over 30 years since I saw them in Row 2 in Newcastle City Hall! It was one of the best Stones shows I have been to; I thought they were playing as well as I have ever seen them. Peter
