This sucks. I bought a Tier 1 ticket for the same reason, as most of you - to be in front of the stage, separated from the tier 2 and tier 3 people farther back. I thank you all for raising hell with AEG and the Stones about this. Unfortunately, the Stones and AEG have now made statements that would make it very difficult (impossible?) for them to deliver what they promised to Tier 1 and

Quoteandy js QuoteSonicDreamer Yep, it is great fun. This is how MJ and LWS arrived this afternoon. Looks more fun than the tube. Any tips on where to get on ? London Eye Pier, near Waterloo; when facing the river, go to the right side of that huge Ferris like wheel (sorry, not from London, do not know its correct name). On Sunday, for my boat (4:45), they announced that only those who pre-p

QuoteGazza QuoteLieB From those who went to the show ... how did Mick Taylor's playing mesh with Ronnie and Keith in the mix? In the worst case, I can hear a bunch of noodling lost in a pile of ancient weaving... But I expect Woody and Keef gave the ol' Little Mick the room he deserved. It was beautiful. As for 'room he deserved', Mick T was stage front, playing as a foil of

I generally agree with the above comments, but want to add my own perspective. I had an A1, Row F, seat 9 location. It was actually in the second row from the tongue walkway rail (because of the curved tongue walkway), Ronnie's side and on my right there were no chairs in front. Security did prevent people from going to the rail, BUT ONLY UNTIL the gorilla drummers finished their part o

Yesterday, Keith was talking about Wyman and MT on the movie premier stage, NOT about them in concert. But it is great they were at the premier - and maybe they will appear at the O2

QuoteRollin92 Quite unrelated but interesting is this keith interview from the red carpet, he seems certain that Wyman and Taylor will both join them for the London shows (last minute of interview) Very interesting, but NO, Keith was referring to the stage at the movie premier yesterday. However, it's great that Wyman and MT were there; and I am hoping they are on stage at the O2, eve

I tried for a Nov 25th pit in both sales. No luck with that, but did get an A1 Row F single on the ticketmaster Facebook sale. Kept trying for another single after that and saw many singles in 101, 102, 112, 111 but all were in at least row P or higher; saw lower rows in 103 - nothing else came up on the floor or the pit.

QuoteGazza No but for £100 they might sell you a pair of binoculars to look into the mostly empty pit whilst the occupants collectively take a leak during Keith's mini-set. Yes, how will the pit people get out to pee? I may need to limit pre-concert drinking, so I can stay without a break. And I almost never leave during Keith's set. If I have to go, Miss You is a good opportunit

Some bad information on here, also some useful information, and Gazza is always great. I'm a little surprised to hear the Tongue Pit tics are "sold out". I agree that "sold out" only means all the tickets available for sale are sold - and that more may be offered later. However, the VIP package usually has a set number of tickets, so there might not be any more offer

It's illegal and unethical. Cohl's promising, at the initial ABB press conference, that there would be "club/theater" concerts, when during 2 years there was just 1 charity/movie shoot and 1 movie shoot, both with very limited ticket sales, WAS UNETHICAL, if not illegal. Because Mick's extra rehearsal's for the movie shoots led to the last minute postponeme

Article posted on Billboard with a time of 2 PM (EST) today: Despite reports to the contrary, sources with Van Halen tell Billboard the band's tour is not being canceled, though tonight's (March 3) scheduled show at the American Airlines Center in Dallas has been postponed and rescheduled for April 24. Three other dates have been postponed for undisclosed reasons. The source says

If this album has Shine A Light stuff on it, then I won't buy it, but I will borrow a copy and make lots of copies for friends. I'll never spend a cent on anything related to the Beacon movie shoots. I had to fly to Atlantic City twice because they postponed AC at last minute because of extra rehearsals for Beacon (which caused Mick's voice problem). Plus RS.com lied about how B

Some more nominees: Jennifer Lopez Ricky Martin Ashlee Simpson Robert Matthew Van Winkle (Vanilla Ice) Some of the others mentioned are (un)worthly candidates too, but I don't agree about Britney, Kid Rock, or Madonna; who all had lots of talent. Kid Rock and Madonna still do, but Britney is now wacko.

Thanks for posting that link. It is a very interesting, nasty, version by Keith. Wish he could still play like that!

Sound was louder tonight - similar to Las vegas in March 2006, but it was clear and just super. Yes, my ears are still ringing too, but I only have to hear one more show, so lets have another loud great one like tonight! I enjoyed tonight's MR more than any other this tour!
