The Winner will also have the opportunity to record the sentence, recorded by Sp

Quotemnewman505 I'll admit that Cohl definitely had a vision but he was not Bill Graham by any means, still i'd take him over what we have now because at least with Cohl from Steel Wheels through A Bigger Bang there was a common person in charge of the whole touring apparatus. Now we definitely don't have that. AEG's man behind the scenes:

Quoteangee Does that list have more weifgt than Bjornulf's? I was really looking forward to Milwaukee. Me too! Still hoping for Marcus Amphitheater! Lots BS on here, but it's also apparent lots of plans have been changing. Bring back Michael Cohl! AEG appears to be in chaos. In 2013, AEG screwed up many things - many, some very badly. Hope they do better this tour, bu

Quoterbk Getting in and out of Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a pain in the arse. Or at least it was 25 years ago when I went down for a 500. Two hours to get in. Two hours to get out. Now, this is based on a crowd for the race of about 300,000. I'm guessing the Stones will perform to less than a third that number but still... I doubt traffic/parking for this will be much of a problem. Th

I checked that old IORR page and you appear to be correct. However, I remember the $85s being announced late relative to the tour announcement and also late relative to seating pric

QuoteGlimmerGirl24 QuoteIGTBA Robin Leach was dead on in that February article. But I wonder about AEG's judgment. In 2013, they had to invent the "$85s discounting" to fill the overpriced US/Canada arenas. Same thing, or worse (like closed off sections), will happen this summer if they overprice stadiums. Hard to believe they will make more at a stadium show than they could at

Yes, MisterDDDD. It's not bad, just a big let down after learning they might play multiple times at Forest Hills or at least once at Red Rocks, which is less than 30 minutes from where I live.

Quotebv Raleigh NC and Quebec City Canada added to the tour list. Thanks for all the updates BV. But these latest lists are a huge disappointment, without Red Rocks, Forest Hill, or any other smaller venue. Milwaukee looks to be the best place. An all stadium/festival tour is not something that excites me, so when venues such as Forest Hills and Red Rocks were mentioned, I was real

Quotetwo4fun111 may 30th DOESN'T make sense at all for columbus...if tour is starting late May, (May 24th in San Diego) the logistics aren't economical for the Stones....and we all know Mick isn't going to be city jumping over the U.S.A. ...they plan better than that Agreed, but its possible. They could be doing a Las Vegas show, between those dates, and would not need the stadi

On second thought, during this tour, I enjoyed MR and the rarer CYHMK as much or more than GS, but GS was still very special for me , live, this year.

Yes. And I agree Keith's guitar intro is genius. Many times I've thought "how did he come up with that?". Hendrix did many amazing things with a guitar, but for me, nothing stays so fresh and beautiful to hear as Kieth's relatively simple intro - and his rhythm that follows. I've listened to probably over a hundred versions of GS and thousands of times in total.

This was posted on Shidoobee - from May 31 concert. It was a little more than halfway through Satisfaction. Immediately before this, they both had stopped about 15 feet apart, with both looking directly at each other, Mick staring at Keith very intensely for a couple seconds, then Keith started to move towards Mick, Keith said something, Mick broke into a big smile still looking right at Keith

Quotegotdablouse Good for you, makes up for the aggravation AEG gave you for HP, eh ;-) So your name had apparently been drawn before hand since you were "flagged" at the window as opposed to just being given an envelope at random. I got pits, with my $85s, in Oakland. I think it was random, but not 100 percent sure. Got in line about 7:15. I saw others get pits too, but most did not. There were a lot of $85s sold for Oakland too, so the percentage of pits had to be low. Great to luck out!! BTW, there seemed to be very few $85s in the pit at Staples; I got PR7 - not bad - for Staples - also with $85s. At Oakland, I

I believe that is Front Gate Tickets - have not called yet, but my email from Greg S was clearly from Front Gate - and it appears Front Gate is handling the ticket sales. Well for those who were following the remote possibility of getting a class action on this in the USA, I heard back from the firm I contacted. QuoteIGTBA A different possible way we could go after these lying companies. I have been assuming any legal action would need to be under UK and/or English law. However, there may be a way this can be covered by USA law - through a class action. Front Gate Tickets is primarily a US company, with what appears to be their main office in Austin, TX.
