QuoteHMS What I have seen and heard of them since 2012 makes me think that -Charlie is as good as ever. Thunder in right hand, lightning in left. -Ronnie plays better than in 2006/07, 1981/82 and 1994/95. -Keith plays less but more impressive stuff. He´s still the Riffmaster. Even the occasional bum notes sound right in their own special way. His intros are often marvelous/better than

Quotejlowe ... The SA tour will happen, no doubt, but will have to wait. I don't buy into the "economic argument" either....plenty of other Acts are doing tours.. Expect SA in 2016. And maybe Greece sometime after! Not many acts in Argentina. Several are rumored, but not many confirmed - and none will have ticket prices anywhere near the Stones - plus the other possible sig

Doubt if any reason for no SA tour comes from Stones camp. That's because they want to be politically correct and not insult SA. To me, it's obviously economics. SA is a mess. The two biggest, for the Stones, SA countries are Brazil and Argentina. Brazil's economy is slumping for several reasons - one is the corruption problems in government, but there are other reasons t

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Do we have a pre-show watering hole yet? I think Shidoobee is taking over BB King's. What do the locals recommend? Shidoobees switched pre concert meeting place to Bailey's Pub & Grille 408 Broadway - mainly because they agreed to play mostly or all Stones music. That was not going to happen at BB Kings.

Quote24FPS Gary Clark is a yawn when it comes to the blues. John Mayer practically blew him off the stage and that's sad. The only one lamer for the blues is Robert Cray. And Kid Rock? He just samples old songs like Sweet Home Alabama and speaks over them some nonsense about missing drive-ins. Both extremely talented. I can only say good things about Mayer, but I'd rather hear Gary C

QuoteNiek RollingStones: MT @LPSmith24 Have you got a favorite live album by the Stones. Love You Live is my favorite The headline is incorrect. The person asking the question has Love You Live as their favorite. Charlie said NO; he does NOT have a favorite. He listens to other peoples live albums, but not the Stones.

Has anyone confirmed how many seats across in the two front center floor sections: A4 and A5? The charts I've seen show 14 seats, but earlier in this thread there was a screenshot of a ticket order showing a seat #15 in one of those sections, so?

QuoteGS1978 QuoteSummergirl Does anyone know how the seats are numbered for the field sections at San Diego? Early in SD sale, I pulled up row 4, pairs, in both A3 and A6, looking in the Diamond VIP sale - they are over $1700 a ticket. Threw them back, but probably would have gone for the same row in A5, or row 3 in A4. In the AX sales, I found nothing of value - looking for very good floor seats. Plan to stay patient.

That is a huge area for a concert. Indy is a fun place and very well run. I went to every Formula 1 race at Indy in the 2000s. They know how to handle crowds. However, with all sections being standing room only, and being so huge, I think I'll pass on this. Ohio Stadium - the entire structure, which seats 105,000 in the stands for football, would easily fit within that area, with a

A reservation does not guarentee anything, not even a room, let alone the price. QuoteThe Sicilian Could it possibly be that the Stones have decided to close the USA portion of the tour and perhaps the entire tour with a final show in Buffalo? Yes it is early and maybe a bit premature, but for now, it looks mighty good on the IORR tour page. What if it was their last show period? Would you want to be in the crowd at Buffalo NY? QuoteDREAMTIME 1. Colorado will be between San Diego & Columbus 27 May. 2. 3 shows at Forest Hills NYC after the tour and not announced until most stadiums are sold. Logistically Colorado makes sense. Forest Hills after all the stadium/festivals, without any initial announcement, makes less sense - but I can see the diabolical logic in that too. Quotemnewman505 I'll admit that Cohl definitely had a vision but he was not Bill Graham by any means, still i'd take him over what we have now because at least with Cohl from Steel Wheels through A Bigger Bang there was a common person in charge of the whole touring apparatus. Now we definitely don't have that. AEG's man behind the scenes:

Quoterbk Getting in and out of Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a pain in the arse. Or at least it was 25 years ago when I went down for a 500. Two hours to get in. Two hours to get out. Now, this is based on a crowd for the race of about 300,000. I'm guessing the Stones will perform to less than a third that number but still... I doubt traffic/parking for this will be much of a problem. Th

In 2013, they had to invent the "$85s discounting" to fill the overpriced US/Canada arenas. Same thing, or worse (like closed off sections), will happen this summer if they overprice stadiums.
