Rose Bowl - also lots of high rows in Section 4, we got row 75 (77 was top). Viewing angle was ok - could not see Charlie, but could always see Keith and Ronnie - and the side is closer to the band than the back oval. But all non-floor seats are far away in that huge stadium. Did not see anyone get pits, but was told someone got pits. Place was packed and pits looked full too, although

Quotetimbernardis Where are you from? Last year, I went to the Dublin and the first two London shows. Also, went to the Shidoobee pre party in Dublin, IORR band show/party in London and to Chris Jagger at the Ealing Club. Maybe it was one of those places. And no, I am the only plexi, THE PLEXIGLASS !!! Anyone else claiming such is an imposter! plexi I wasn't at those concerts, so

That is not near either downtown or Mile High Stadium. It's an area NE of town in fields, parks, and a wildlife refuge. So far, only a couple of prairie dogs have been confirmed to be infected and that area will be treated with a pesticide and monitored - meanwhile it is closed to people. No threat to Stones fans. Plague in prairie dogs, which live in many areas of the front range, i

There is no confirmation on the Shidoobee tailgate Saturday yet - might not be confirmed until a day or two before. Hoping for parking lot C (south of stadium's west side). QuoteMizzAmandaJonez 3rd show of my tour, Chicago 1-2 and Jax was the best so far. Rambler was epic, but really, I enjoyed every song. Very tight, they sounded great. Can’t wait for Seattle Me too (except I won't see Seattle). Keith and Ronnie were playing very well, with the guitars very strong in the mix, especially Keith's. I'd like to see more songs, but no way am I complai

Quotebv The current tropical storm expected this week in the New Orleans to Baton Rouge area is expected to be a category 1 hurricane, named Berry. This is not to be compared to the much more dangerous Hurricane Katrina, back in 2005. Katrina reached its peak strength with winds of 175 mph (280 km/h), while Barry is expected to peak at 40 mph, i.e. 1/4 of the power of Katrina. All storms are dan

Correction to above. Atlantic/Gulf tropical depressions are only named when they reach tropical storm strength - maximum winds reach 39 mph (63 km/h). That's still well below hurricane strength winds which begin with sustained winds of at least 74 mph.

Not much chance of a hurricane, but strong chance of tropical depression. If/when it officially becomes a tropical depression, it will be named Barry. That only means it's a tropical depression. That means lots of rain, potential flooding, travel disruptions, windy, etc - not necessarily in New Orleans, but it's certainly possible there around this coming weekend. The National H

Picked up LDs at around 5:45 pm - got Pit 2. Know of others who got Pit 2 also - before we did. Pit was a little too crowded near the walkway, but at least in our location near the back, everyone was polite - no jerks coming in late and pushing to get to the rail. Most of the ushers and security people had little clue what to do or to answer questions about where to go. Security getting i

Quotegrzegorz67 The pits were certainly getting busier as the tour progressed. I thought Twickenham was fine for space - certainly on Keith’s side. In Manchester it got fuller and fuller as the show progressed. In Warsaw, the Diamond Pit on Ronnie’s side was quite sparse despite being sold out. I wonder where these people went ;D ? I agree that 2019 is likely to be more crowded there. It a

@grzegorz67 Commented that the Europe pits in 2017-2018 were not that crowded. I agree regarding 2017, at least in Paris. But I thought the pits were too crowded in 2018, at least for most of the last six concerts. The worst was probably the final concert in Warsaw - the pits were extremely crowded from the front to the back, even the entrance area. Prague wasn't too bad, but Twicke

I'm excited by the tongue banner hanging from Mile High stadium in Denver. I think it means there are plans for them to perform at that stadium next year - nothing more or less. It's not easy to sell out Mile High stadium, even for the Stones; so I think the promoter is trying to generate excitement early. While Denver weather is great, there is a realistic chance for cold weather
