Mine was JJF.....I was born late 1958. Still love that song, especially the version that opened the No Security arena tour, and the studio version of course.

I know, I was lucky enough to be on the rail at the B stage during No Security in Washington DC....one of the songs was Midnight Rambler...incredible. The band looks right at you...they really do. Keith bent over and shook my hand, gave me a pick, the one he played Rambler with. I still have it of course, and look at the string rubs on it sometimes. Can you imagine, Keith Richards AND The Rol

Ironbelly...that is so very generous of you to pass that along. Thank you. Quoteironbelly Quoteonestep I'm not sure how to rip the sound from the DVD's into a playable format that could be put on CD. First - DVD sourced audio is lossy. Blueray - lossles. To rip audio from DVD you'll need two programs 1 - DVD decrypter to remove copy-protection and rip DVD to your HD. I a

Thanks for keeping me straight! I wasn't aware of the stand alone...which would Be cool to have an entire CD of each total performance! I'm not sure how to rip the sound from the DVD's into a playable format that could be put on CD.

I do agree, that Totally Stripped is only great in the Deluxe edition. I understand fans who are complete collectors would want access to the Japanese edition that has the extra's...and I think the Japanese edition is region coded as well. So playing the DVD's might be problematic to some. I think the bonus CD might be pretty cool to have, since they could be potentially unheard mixes

I agree, the total song selections, the performances, the sound, the mix, the package....It's like being there....you really can't get any better...especially with audio video components the way they are. If you have a HD large screen, a big dark room, and awesome sound tied into it...with a bar in the corner....you can have one awesome Stones experience. Now if a different type o

Listen to Bill Wyman's bass playing on Star Star crank it. Lies is really got a great groove! They only did like 16 song sets on that tour... Quotemtaylor Quotelonglongwinter Is Texas the only soundboard boot on this tour? I loved the sound of the band on this tour and would love to hear more Here: Detroit, Dallas, Philadelphia etc.

GOD.....how can a decent thread be ruined by rating guitar players that are in a band you all claim to love so much? I don't get it....I've been able to see The Stones live since the late 70's, including this 78 tour. Ronnie is a perfect guitar player for The Stones...they do "the weave"..and all you guys that claim not to hear his playing is a testament to the guitar s

The new stripped album version....and the Atlantic City 1989 pay-per-view rank as the best live versions I have ever witnessed...both in vocals emotionally really, I mean Jagger at his absolute best....and the Atlantic City version slightly better in guitar inter-play in my opinion.

The other thing is, when Jagger always did live vocals to backing tracks on their music videos..or performances...up to about 78. This MISS YOU, really is awesome, I know we have all seen it...but it's fun to watch. Seems Miss You really is a great Stones song.

And if instead you started out by clicking on Page 1, many us know to look at the date -- and if it's from, say, 2011, then you look at the most recent post and see what's up. No

It's good to see we agree....this recording demo really shows the thoughts and feelings of Mick, and where the song came from...the jam is especially excellent as well.

The presale is now over, of course, but there were some awesome seats available....I think The Stones presale of something similar would have been a riot! I can't see members of the band being able to sit still in one place for an extended period of time...especially Mick and Keith.

I can't go during this time period, but on certain days, there are single tickets in the 5th row, Pete's side. Who fans would kill me if they knew I shared...but I made a deal once with a Who fan...he and his wife stood in front of me in the front row of a RAH show, Pete's side....bumping and dancing, it was like almost being in the second row. I was in a decent mood, and told th

Well, I love The Who, one of my first concert experiences in the 70's showed me the power of live music, and I have been addicted ever since. I have seen their previous outing this past year or so, and Townshend was very ill in Washington DC...but they did NOT disappoint. One of the hardest working live acts still performing. WE got SLIP KID, because Townshend couldn't sing Eminence F
