I had heard their management was working on something for the US this summer, but this isn't what I expected, to be sure. I have never seen a show in Las Vegas, especially Caesars Palace....hmmm.

QuoteMonsoon Ragoon Quoteonestep Quotebv I like what they play. That is why I go to concerts and rehearsals. If you don't like what they play then how can you be a fan of something they don't normally do? Hey, I love what they play, seen them play the same song over and over, and to me...it's different every time! Hey Bjornulf! HOW....do I get those rehearsal tickets? Pal? :-

Quotewonderboy 'Both' is not acceptable! The question was Studio OR Live. If you are offered Ginger or Mary Ann, you have to pick one, or you might not get either. Or since this is a Stones forum, maybe Anita or Marianne would be a better way to phrase it. Well...Mary Ann is a much easier choice...Ginger just isn't my style, to much maintenance....among other things. As fa

A really great down to earth conversation with Mick. He would be great to sit around with and talk Rolling Stones, you really get the feeling he is comfortable during this interview. Talking about the blues...and yes Mick, we will listen to it. Been waiting for it! I will have it in my collection to play as an example of why I really love the band, and how it plays. A few random thoughts related to the Subject; If they ever come back to North America again, I would be surprised. We were hoping this 2016 tour was a chance to hit NY, Chicago...a few other markets they love to play. The single show in Vegas, and Micks unfortunate laryngitis didn't feel like a proper way for The Stones to say so long to North America. The last show in North America

Quotebv Some have this romantic idea that Mick, Keith and the Stones are some sort of philanthropist group. Well read Keith's book "Life" again. Ever since their very first gig Keith counted the income in his notebooks. How much money they made on a gig. I do the same. You do the same. Money makes bread on the table. The more money you have the more money you want. If I or you had

QuoteCristiano Radtke Just out of curiosity, I wonder how many people from USA who are complaining about tonight's concert would attend a regular gig if it wasn't on their own hometown. They could play in NY, Vegas or anywhere else in USA and still there would be people who would want them playing on their own backyard. I would !

This is going to be awesome, The Stones doing what they do best, what they love doing. Finally a blues album, been waiting for that for years. I think the album art is awesome as well, simple, blues tongue, less is more, which is what they have always been about, subtle delivery, lots of tease. COOK COOK BLUES, and FANCYMAN BLUES...I really listen to all the time. I can't wait to t

I am listening to Pete Townshend talk to the audience, like I have for 45 years....we all sometimes feel this way, and if you don't think so, you are full of it. That's why millions of people have heard this monologue over and over and over. He communicates on a base level to all of our common feelings. video:

You are certainly entitled to your opinion on Pete's monologues as you put it....but I must politely say that is horseshit. I have been going to Who shows since the 70's, and Pete has always taken the time to talk to the audience a couple of times during a concert..........it's not a recent habit he has decided to take up just to give Roger a break. There was one dude that follow

Stadium is an awesome experience for me...IF I CAN GET IN THE FIRST 5 ROWS ON THE FLOOR! Otherwise, a smaller venue or arena is better for me, better sound, controlled climate, and a choice of seating where I can get close enough to see how the band interact's with each other, a chance to perhaps catch their eye.....

Even though I heard some on Spotify, I finally opened my totally stripped collection.... I think this is the best live document that has been released since Ive been an adult. It's The Rolling Stones... I think the CD takes you through what being at a Stones concert IS. They gave us I GO WILD, a great GIMMIE SHELTER..a few rare ones...and the track listing is commercially awesome. T

Quotestanlove So there you have it. You don't think they stole it. Thats all that needs to be said or makes sense. Wjat does your previous post of they created a song that is played all over thw world have to do with anything? Nothing. Thats my point. Unless you are making the case that if you are a successful and popular musician then you can take and steal anything you want. uh-u
