I mean life is quite a journey isn't it....when we get into our 50's and 60's...most of us have enough learned experiences to write a book. Laugh if you want...yeah who's going to read it you ask. It's true though, the journey changes you through time...hopefully for the better....and every one of us has an interesting story...if written correctly and succinctly. If

I guess my transition started when I started seeing 15 shows or more per tour. When you always check to availability of every live show...to see if you can make something happen. Getting into a Beacon show....or theater show....not always that easy. Then getting interviewed on the radio twice, and once on local television...those interviews were on the street outside of the venue. W

Awww come on D....it's the grocery store...regular life....there they are staring right at you...THE STONES, it's not our 4k monitor where we spend all our live's comparing each guitar note and every photograph. I would gamble 90 percent of the people checking out haven't seen a photograph of the band in years. The Stones with Mick and Keith right at you when we are pushing th

I know....I never pick those things up anymore....I’ve got quite a collection....BUT I must say the cover is awesome. The recent posting of the Joyce Smyth interview was a great read about current operations and relationships.

I agree, I went on a small tangent there, and I may well have missed the point. Thanks for pointing that out, the production certainly controlled the front orchestra sections with models, and they had a choice of fans to send in photographs from which they chose...along with the other things you mention...that made the movie much more of a production. I was at that show....it was incredible, including the ambiance. So many memories, starting with Jake Cohl calling me on my cell phone...and I would like to believe what he said to me...many will say are you crazy, The Stones could not have read your submission to a contest. It was a contest to write a short composition of why you deserve to see The Stones at The Beacon. The train up to NYC..

I didn't count solo shows...but saw a few. Charlie Watts at the Blue Note in NYC....now that was small...front table, and we had steak and ales before the show. Keith Richards 2 shows, different tours, Constitution Hall in Washington DC...the second show, he played Happy after the curfew, and they pulled the plug on him....great shows. The hall holds 3700

I can't compete, the Beacon NYC for me, 2nd smallest shoots up, it was the Baltimore Arena in 2006. 13,000 audience, one of the smallest shows on the tour, except for Radio City Music Hall, and a special show in Shanghai I believe. They played Love Is Strong ! I got lucky with some really good seats... First Mariner Arena Baltimore

I will never forget The Stones rehearsing Jump On Top Of Me at a soundcheck in Philadelphia... it was very good....but not as good as a show, because it was echoing through the arena venue. The Sister Morphine disc of of the Babylon Rehearsals called Closer Than Close "the Toronto 1997 rehearsals volume 1" That was very good, and interesting...but you know, stops and restarts...

I've been waiting for this one since 1999, the best two concerts and experiences that I ever attended in my life. Brushes with fame....The Stones at their absolute peak in technical and musical performance...the set lists....out of all the shows, these two performances were as close to catching the dragon I ever could imagine achieving. Close was Washington DC first show of the Voodoo

Just listening for the first time this morning, and the Route 66 version is amazing. They are totally in sync, Bill and Charlie really make this version. Bill is awesome on the songs that I chose to sample. I have had these songs for a very long time on bootleg CD, and this official version is the best sound possible of these recordings, from what I've heard. Bill Wyman's playi
