hmmmm yeah that seems a bit strange with Steve and Ronnie Lane both dead and gone. Mac is on tour solo and always plays a couple of small faces tunes in the set...how is this "reunion" any different than Mac solo? Just adding Kenny on drums?

I have the Hyde Park boot and do not recall Blue Turns To Grey played at that gig. Down Home Girl was... In fact I would bet Blue has never been performed live.

Can they make a great new album? I believe that they can. Based on the strengh of the reworked Some Girls and Exile tracks (way better than they needed to be) and Micks songwriting and singing on other recent projects (SuperHeavy, Stu tribute, etc) It can be done. Now whether it can be up to par with some of the classics is hard to say as by all accounts the songwriting parternership of Jagger

Wow what a performance of SFM! I forgot just how fast that one is. Ronnie's arm is strumming so fast it looks like it could fall off. Mick and Charlie are on full blast too. Lucky for them it was only 4min. Very cool.

First I had seen of this and quite enjoyed it. Funny how young and handsome Bill and Mick look here and they were "old" already! Seeing Mick in his 1973 jumpsuit and mascara was awesome!

yes and done! THough I, like many others have my doubts on whether this is a valid vote. I say they will play CYHMK regardless of vote count..which is ok too.

True...quite sad how she has completly let herself go in a short time. Now does look like a different person. For a REAL shock, check a clip from a Stones show in 1989 or 1994. She looks about 110lbs tops!

QuoteJames Kirk Correct me if I'm wrong, but werent there rumors of the Stones replacing Jagger with either Terrence Trent Darby, Roger Daltrey or Rod Stewart around the Dirty Work era? ? That's absurd! First I have heard that. No way that was a serious consideration...and Who the F is Terrence??!?

Quotewinter 1. ditch Don Was and get another producer (no, not the glimmer twins, either!) who can help/inspire the band to do some songcrafting with their material. That means crafted intros and endings, interesting bridges and choruses, good instrumental breaks, vocal coaching (like a director getting the appropriate flavor/mood from an actor), dynamics. ABB had almost none of those, despite mu

same old complaints about sound and mixing. Again...guys...they are "mastered for itunes" Those "great" vinyl and older CD versions when made into digital files sound awful on ipods. Theses releases are iTunes only for a reason! They sound MUCH MUCH better thru itunes/ipod/ipad/phone than ripping old versions into itunes.

I saw that yesterday...ah, the cash grab. I suppose for a young fan first getting into them, downloading all their albums at once ($240) could be nice. It certainly would have saved me some time back when.

The song is funky and I enjoy it but c'mon guys, really?! You can seriously see this working in 2013? It barley worked live in '75. The outro goes on and on and Jagger (not to mention most of the crowd) would not have the patience for an unknown 7min slow funk song. PLUS, Ronnie did the bass live and Wyman was on synth. Hardly worth a special trip to sit behind that. THis is t

All the compression and "loudness" is due to modern listening ie. mp3 files vs. cds. Because the vast majority will hear the album in digital format, most new albums are "mastered for itunes" so it will sound best within the confines of mp3 players and pc speakers. Cry all you want but thats how it is. Most listeners cannot tell any difference.

I had decided not to buy this as like many here, felt loyal to Ronnie and didn't want to support a cash grab released to air dirty laundry... but.. I broke down and bought the ebook. It is quite good, though yes of course written from Jo's point of view, Ronnie hardly appears to be a model husband but Jo didn't mind the aloof behaivor, late nights and wild parties untill she
