What do you guys think of this? I think the bottles look pretty cool. They don't ship wine to Massachusetts though, bummer. Actually, if I did get the wine, I probably wouldn't drink it anyway, keep it as a collectible.

Thanks Eric. I can't believe I've never heard of this before. I'll try it next time.

Sometimes I have sexual dreams about that fat naked guy in Gimme Shelter. As for Mick and Keith. Yup, I used to dream about them often. They always look like they did in the 60's though. Keith looks way cool in the 70's, but he always looks like he stinks pretty badly. Girls don't like stinky guys, even stinky Rolling Stones.

You didn't really consider retreiving it, did you!? OMG that's so gross. Did you ever see that JackAss episode where the guy goes into the portapotty and they tip it upside while he's in there. It was unbelievably nasty. Hey Shawn, can you post some of your pictures?

Sorry about your flask. Your loss is probably what tainted your whole "on stage" experience. Or perhaps, the free wine was what enhanced mine?

Those are great! I love this one: Q: Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, he doesn't know about it until the next morning? A: Did you actually pass the bar exam? I wish could be that quick on the stand.

T&A, I was a bit bummed out too when I found out I wasn't going to be right on stage, so I think I actually lowered my expectations before I went, therefore, I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was. As for the $250 bucks, yeah, it's a lot, but the first ticket I had for that night was close to $200 bucks and that was up in the top section of Fenway, so to me, I th

I think Izzy covers one of Ronnies songs on his solo album. I think it's "Take a Look at the Guy".

I know! I love that one too. Sadly, it's probably the only time in my life that I'll get the opportunity to be on top of him. ;-)

Thanks! I saw the first Boston show from the 15th row with the $450 tickets (free for me though, YAY!), so I got to see the screen, et al. Stage seat was much better experience for me though. The people near me were f*king duds, and mostly stood there watching. But I might change my mind and say front row is better. When I saw them front row in NY back in '94, I was waving

And you're right, it wasn't as though you are there next to them or anything, but I just never was able to be so close that you felt the vibration of the music, and I've seen them front row before,

I didn't see this original thread, so I apologize if this is already out there, but.. One annoying reference is on the 70's Show. You know how between scenes, they show the kids dancing or posing for a few seconds? Well on one of them that they play at lot, that kid Hyde wears a shirt with a really bad fake tongue on it. I hate it when people don't get the tongue right.

Rocks Off. I love Slave now, but it didn't do much for me when I first heard it at 15 years old. Rocks Off I loved right away, and continue to do so today. Therefore, the fact that it's non-generational (is that a word? hehe) forces me to choose it.

LOGIE's story reminded me of what happened at my mother's funeral. She was a big fan of pop music, and would find a song she liked and play it over and over again. The day she died, we took all my mother's old 45's and made a tape to play at the funeral home as background music. No one really noticed too much, but when it was time for the final prayer, and everyone sa

Hi Erik, I know what you mean about If Not For You being about love, not loss, but that's why I think it's better. The services are going to be sad enough without a song about someone dying. I think at my service I would prefer to have people think about me and and what I may have meant to them. I agree that they are all appropriate though, any Dylan is great. Anyway,

If not For You would be really really nice. It's very simple, and the instruments are not overpowering, just sweet. I love this line... "if not for you my sky would fall, rain would gather too, without your love, I'd be nowhere at all, I'd be lost if not for you" I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.

10 - before start of SW tour there was a 24 hour watch onb Jagger. Why? I think it had something to do with one of the Hell's Angels being pissed off at Mick. He accused Mick of abandoning the Hells Angels, not coming to their defense after Altamont. Just a guess though.

usually when I do these quizes, I just got by memory, but the Family question got me wondering, so I looked up the lyrics on Keno, thinking I might have gotten the words wrong. Keno had the lyrics as, ....When he's finally realized That he can't play his guitar like E.G. Jim Or write St. Augustine if he tried I had no idea who E.G. Jim was, so I didn't question it. I

I would go absolutely out of my mind if they played this song and I missed it. I agree 100% on what a great song it is. Sometimes, I listen to it and just try to follow one instrument, like the bass line, but when the song ends, I realized I got sucked in again and lost myself to the song. Andrew from Canada (can't remember his screen name right now) was nice enough to recently send
