i wonder why they should play a never played before jem to that crowd. You assume that because it was a theatre and people have spent thousands, they deserve a treat like they were hardcore fans. They were not (most of them). It was charity + social life for celeb. Most of them probably have not played the entire EOMS once in their life (though McEnroe surely have). So, you would have been

they play half & half they mix very well the first half they don't change anything in the second half (just insert PIB if they don't play MR and go for a 21 songs set) It is pathetic? No They can do better? Of course Have you seen the Rio concert? That was the mother of all warhorses' setlist AND a f great concert That is a good point of reference in giving opinion be

maybe bv should delete this thread because it seems that incorrect information can't be easily halted. I am sorry but I did not have a copy of the magazine to verify the info posted on shidobee where, on the other hand, no one pointed out the mistake. So, Rick Rubin talked about a project with the Stooges, not the Stones. Is that clear now?

Dr Pete, you're great! you're post is really something. In fact, you're right, no one, especially the first poster has seen the real thing, He was simply saying that it is pathetic and not coherent in terms geopolitical terms. Got it? Now that you have this enlightening information you can properly change your Amazon's order. Maybe Aprilfool can give you some suggestions? Does

ok bruno you got my "hate" and went away with it i beg yours and every "classic stones fan" pardon and take back that it is not hate, can i call it "passionate dislike" of most of the things stones do these days or maybe be i am still incorrect because these "classic stones fans" like many things of "modern era stones". it just happen that they

i doubt there's more people here that find stones pathetic than people that still like them play it would be hard to call this place a fan site then. This thing of "who is a true fan" has an objective bottom line. There's plenty of "nostalgic" or archivistic web sites about music of the 60's or the stones themselves. Here, this particular stones websites is

The concert mentioned above by chelsea was Rome 1990 (third gig of that tour) It's true Abb was pushed up by vodafone commercial and it is sadly true we're not a stones-country But I remember in the early eighties it was worse. When I got hooked in 1982 (they made three concerts then after 12 years) i remember they were despised a lot in music magazine (compared to the other classic

i have just watched the buenos aires show and the atmosphere is awesome. you can see how mick likes it (sometimes he even look a bit scared but can't stop to work the crowd). Midnight rambler lasts something like 11mins and 40secs and most of it is mick working the crowd, beautiful). There's so much feedback from the crowd that you don't care the band @#$%& up a lot (exspecially SF

live albums in general have never sold well i don't think the point of a live album, especially for the stones, is to sell copies. as it is clear with live licks, it is bith a matter of honour a contract and a way to "optimize" the work (very good) that has been made for Four flicks (low cost of production versus expected sales) to make another live album "a la stones&quo
