Fantastic song! I love it! Can't sit still with this one! They still got it! And that beat... just great! Jagger is back, Charlie is back, Ronnie and Keith are back!

Well, since Ronnie is upfront in the mix the whole song and it sounds like a rocker by Ronnie... Soundwise also..

It's got an Undercover vibe... And it rocks like a Ronnie song, Keith is somewhat burried but still recognizeable.. Great song, allthough something is off with the sound just like the Paris Forty Licks 4 songs. Production/sound is not in the league as Bridges and Voodoo.

Great song, but the sound(mix) reminds me too much of Don't Stop and the other 3 Forty Licks Paris recorded songs. I don't like the thin sound of the guitars and the drums. It's not powerful. Voodoo and Bridges are way better produced and each instrument sound like they are actually there!

Fantastic song! I bought the single back then, with that great The Storm and So Young.

QuoteDoxa QuoteMuddyw Whatever the tracklist.. they shouldn't have included Streets Of Love. That song is so far away from the Stones sound and I just don't like this "strumming the guitar like any other popband" kinda song. Instead they could've added Rough Justice or Laugh, I Nearly Died, or any other song from A Bigger Bang. Hey, "Street of Love" was number

Bridges and Voodoo are way better produced/mixed than Bigger Bang. Allthough musically I like all three of them! Actually Bridges sounds more like a "Bang" than the sound of A Bigger Bang ;-).

Doesn't this attitude coming from being financially screwed by their manager in the sixties? I mean, another compilation with the same songs is not relevant. Hanging out together for a few months in the studio, working their ass of to make the best possible album they can, with a great, dynamic and ritch soundmix. Not like Steel or Bang, more like Black, Tattoo, Voodoo and Bridges, etc.

The mix/sound of the 4 new tracks from Forty Licks is really their worst out of all of their studiorecordings. I hope the two new GRRR songs are recorded better.

Quoteshortfatfanny QuoteMuddyw Quotejazzbass What do you all think of the Urban Jungle version of 'Shelter' w/o Lisa? Nothing beats their definitive live version from Paradiso 1995! Taylor made it too much noodling, while Ronnie and Keith made it thrilling and haunting like hell in Paradiso.. I like the Paradiso one very much, but Taylor made it too much noodling ? No. Wrong word

No Gimme Shelter live version other than the Paradiso 1995 live version is more thrilling/haunting. Nothing before, nothing after. To me the Paradiso version is the definitive live version! I simply cannot hear any other version live :-(.

Would've loved Terrifying on the setlist. That's why I love Atlantic City! Though I'm curious to this release!

Fantastic! I like that 1994 version of Jumping Jack Flash. And great to see Keith play in front of the public... great rocking version!

I think Paradiso, Amsterdam, 1995, is much more interesting than Miami 94. A small club show from the "modern era".

I think Live In Japan is fantastic! Listen to Niji Baby on that record: It's a great song. Has a great build up, with soft and loud soloplaying by mr. King. Also Live And Well is a nice live album. Although first half of the record is liverecording, second half is studiorecording.

Quotetreaclefingers I was listening to it full blast on headphones on my walk to work this morning. I may have fallen to the ground and did 'the worm' for awhile...it is SOOOOOOOOOO...good. When I got up the crowd dispersed. I think there is a longer version of the song on boots, no? That song is just so good...that song alone makes Tattoo You better than Some Girls. ok,

Great! I was there in Groningen, 1999! It was thrilling, finally the Stones in my backyard! One thing I always dreamed of. I actually made some photos, not great ones but enough to prove I was there! I stood next to the B-Stage, so I got a good look at them. It occurs to me that maybe I also have that review from "Dagblad van het Noorden" somewhere.
