Tattoo You is easily one of their best. At least it's the best sounding album (sound, mix, production). Slave and Waiting On A Friend, both with Sonny Rollins on sax, are my favourites. Well, whatever one might think of the vocal parts by Jagger, I think he's done a decent job, considering his more nasal sounding parts a la Following The River or some songs on Superheavy. At least he didn't lose that country feel kinda voice. I like it a lot, this song No Spare Parts. It didn't disappoint me at all.

No, it's not a cover. This song is composed by Tim Knol together with Big Black & Beautiful, within 36 hours for a TV show in Holland. It was broadcasted yesterday. To me the first thing I heard which reminded me of Exile were those backing vocals.... so beautiful. But I think it also has that Stones guitar rhythm. And it just got that soul...
