It looks like compared to the outtakes on Fully the bonus songs lost their punch and some raw and fantastic guitarsound (It's A Lie, Fast Talking). On It's A Lie now there is an needless extra rhythm guitar part which annoyingly fills the gap, which is not a gap, between left and right.

The Wembley concert is mixed well, but sounds awful. Another bad production. Where is Bob Clearmountain when we need him?

Their sound on Bridges To Babylon is miles better or more beatiful then on A Bigger Bang. Every part sounds full: drums, bass, the guitar by Keith (on fire like on Mixed Emotions), full force.

If one pays (a lot of) money to get an official release one may expect the creators did their best on making it sound good (dynamics, mastering, seperation). It's fantastic to finally get an official releases of concerts previously only available on bootlegs, but to not put any passion on a masterfully played concert and not giving it a proper mastering and sound, it comes over as gettin

I sometimes listen to it, but I don't like the production. They recorded every song in one or a few takes, but they didn't mind the dynamics. And I still miss Bill with his swingin' bass. Besides I like there own blues originals more.

QuoteCooltoplady QuoteSighunt QuoteTaylor1 Quoteds1984 It was the Stones back into live business and they were seriously on top. Ok, Voodoo Lounge Tour was even better. The Atlantic City PPV is in my top five favourite concert. The band was better on Steel Wheels Tour than Voodoo Lounge.Jones was a minus from Bill.Keith never played better than he did on Steel Wheels tour Agreed! Received my Steel Wheels Live (6 discs) by Amazon today. Yesterday I already listened to Atlantic City on Spotify. Listening now to the bonus disc CD and Tokyo Dome DVD. Bonus disc: Same clear channel left and right Ronnie and Keith as on Steel Wheels Live. But hearing the crowd is really unbearable. In total the sound is not quite right. Dead Flowers: Mick too low in the mix. Almo

It's on Spotify. You have to get used to a distant Mick but upfront Ronnie and Keith. Nevertheless, finally this official release!

I still prefer the sound from Criss Cross and Scarlet over their releases since A Bigger Bang up till their latest Living In A Ghost Town. It has so much more feel and warmth, more thickness in the sound. Not in the least the beautiful piano parts.

Love this song. In my opinion there is only one bad Stones song: Streets Of Love. It is utterly ugly and has nothing to do with the Stones sound.

Their ultimate best modern day guitar sound ever! What a mix, every instrument is easy to hear (or follow). This is what the Stones are all about! I'd love the Stones would give this much effort to their (guitar)sound again!

I always thought the song Laugh is in great need for a sax solo (of the likes of Sonny Rollins)!

The sound is awful. It never comes close to the Bob Clearmountain mix from I Go Wild live in Miami 1994.11.25 (1995 Single Version I Go Wild). It looks like the ears of the Glimmer Twins are getting worse by the years. Ever since Bigger Bang their production/mixes sound thin, even on Blue and Lonesome. Still, Not Fade Away is a fantastic opener! What a thrill!

This ain't decent anymore. No ordinary tickets €104,50 were available at 10am. Only €190 and higher. Not for me, allas.

Funny, after the snare intro by Charlie in Commit A Crime I expected Love Is Strong On a few songs you can clearly hear Darryl. I kinda hoped he would be more audible on all of these fantastic blues songs. Because I like the blues with a distinct bass.

I kinda hoped the production would level other modern bluesrecordings, but no... It's the same since A Bigger Bang. With blues I like to hear all instruments but there is no distinctive bass, it is buried. Further it lacks any warmth. Musically I expect it to be great. Allthough their own blues originals are really top notch (The Storm, Fancy Man Blues, Black Limousine, Keep Up Blues, e

QuoteFoolToCry …something for the ears….from "totally stripped" honky tonk woman dead flowers not fade away all in full length!! Fantastic! Let us hear more from the cd! >< BTW: It is mixed differently than Stripped. Less upfront, more reverb from the venue.

The Stones don't spend that much time together to create the songs nowadays. With Exile they lived together and took their time to jam the songs they wanted to make.
