Hey Negrita! Bloody fantastic! Hear our Ronnie play the hell this song! You can hear he is very comfortable with this one (he co-wrote it).

Streets Of Love... the least Stones sounding song. Not one note or chord is typically Stones. Even the melody is not Stones.

Like most of the live released on DVD the filming or editing is not great. You rarely see Bill Wyman, if Keith (or Ronnie) is playing a solo you almost never see that full part up front. And I want to see every guitarintro by Keith. So it is not really exciting to watch them. A CD release will be sufficient.

They don't even use a real piano anymore. On pianoheavy songs like Losing My Touch it really shows that lack of a real piano.

QuoteTheBlockbuster Wiltern Theatre 2002, VERY inspired Mick, and Charlie got that steady groove going on: video: Keith doesn't even play his chordplaying part anymore. It is completely noodling on a song whereas his chordplaying on the original (or live in 78/81) is just the best!

Simply a fabulous, legendary and classic album! This album has such a broad musical and unique sound. I rarely skip a song on this album, it's one musical journey.

Quotetreaclefingers Just came across this...not sure if it's been up here previously but I'm sure at least some won't have seen it: Great to see and hear Keith. He still is a humble man and know's exactly his (musical) place in history! Nice doc! Though some pieces in this youtube version there is no sound.

I think the Stones always needed a boogie woogie kind of pianist, just like the swing bass of Bill Wyman. Chuck is great for songs like Worried, 2,000 Light Years, Undercover, I Got The Blues, All About You, etc. For the pure rock and roll and blues songs his sound and timing is just too clean. All though I must agree on So Young on which Chuck plays a seldomly great solo.

QuoteIrix QuoteMuddyw Would love to buy this live album, but the one thing on iTunes I can't stand is the limit on payment methods. Here in The Netherlands we are used to pay by bank immediately (IDEAL). Mayby it is possible with the Click And Buy payment method, but then again that would be a detour! Hate it when everything is about creditcards! Maybe it's worth to buy a iTunes G

QuoteLeonidP Quotemitch QuoteRank Stranger Okay then: has this stuff been mastered properly or are we getting that "brickwalled" sound again? Brickwalled. Forget this show then. Where have you been? All releases (95% anyway) the past 10-15 years have been brickwalled, live and studio, from most any band. So that means you shouldn't buy anything ever again. Dynamics is soooo

Funny, the strike of the first chord on She's A Beast I thought Till The Next Goodbye would play... Great song anyhow (both of course)!

Listen to New York City and Frankenstein... both songs reminds me of the Stones. I think this whole album breathes Stones (sound) à la Miss You, Slave and Undercover Of The Night. A lot of funk, groovin' and dirty sax! Only Sex is more of Bowie kinda song, but hey.. Jagger sang with Bowie ;-). I would love this type of album by The Stones (rhythm, grooves, backup vox, saxes). One complaint to al of the concertfilms: They never stay focussed on the one who is playing a solo on his/her instrument... Like here on Star, Star when Keith starts with his solo, we miss half of the solo on camera!

I think the the sound is very thin/bland. No Security has a far more better sound. And not every song is done that right, like Worried where I miss the constant rhythm guitar part. Monkey Man and Street Fighting Man are fantastic performances though.

Great album but with a terrible sound/mix/production. Of the productionele was any closer to Bridges it would've been more listenable.

I don't think much about the mix. It has no bass at all. It sounds too compressed. For a bootleg it sounds great but not for an official release. Like all live records since Flashpoint the overall production/sound is thin. Only No Security comes close to a great live production. Hyde Park live is unlistenable through my hifi, even through my ears (too compressed?). Musically it's

Saw it on BBC2... Stunning, they rocked the house! Again it is obvious that there really is no other band like them. The rhythmsection is just brilliant and Ronnie, Mick J, Keith and Mick T.... They all rocked! What an energy for 70-like musicians!

QuoteKurtKuurna Incredible, yes! Maybe it's because everything in Youtube sounds shit so they wanna follow the trend! =-) Or maybe it's the trend of the day of music business that there's no money to anything, and sound-designers and mixers or editors are paid nothing... Because everything sounds shit anyway in Youtube and in ipods and nobody cares. Like Keef said he still
