Review by Rex Dean, Carmichael, California Up until now Fresno has been probably known the most for race car driver Bill Vukovich who dominated the Indianapolis 500 for several years and is widely regarded as the greatest race driver of all time. The Fresno resident was one who would always strive to be the best at what he did and there is a fitting monument to him at the Convention Center in d

If 'A Bigger Bang' had not lived upto expectations then i would not have considered buying the album again plus DVD footage. As it is the album is tremendous so i will have one copy for the car & one for house so i am happy. Then again i am a long time Stones fan but i only buy what i consider to be worth the money for & not out of alligance .

Yes it is strange that most posters seem to think that the Golden era was from 1968 until 1972. The Stones by 1968 had already scored 3 No 1 albums and the following No 1 singles in the UK - It's All Over Now (cover) 1964 Little Red Rooster (cover) 1964 The Last Time 1964 Satisfaction 1965 - 1st American No

It is amazing how many posters state that they can play songs parts better themselves than the Stones can !!! There are so many ego idiots on this board who obviously think they are superstars. What a Shame that they are bit part players and not the real thing.

Withsssoul - This was one of the most difficult comparisons to find as Abkco have ignored the original No 2 but have re-issued different versions of the early albums mixing the UK/USA formats. but here goes - ROLLING STONES NO.2! Label: Decca LK 4661 (Mono) Producer: Andrew Loog Oldham/Arr. Stones Release Date: 1964 A Everybody Needs Somebody To Love Down Home Girl

Ket if you intentionally tried to start up a storm with your statement then you have succeeded. MT is still a class guitar player who left the Stones in a life and death situation in 1974 (he saved his) This was a real act of bravery ie to give up your livelyhood and status playing with the Stones to go down another avenue with no guarentees and the end of it. Yes he has not

There definately was friction between Keith & MT even in the recording studio with Taylors work being relieved of its positioning by Keith (as described by with sssoul) In concert MT's over long solo spots, ever when they were not mean't to be total solos completely cracked Keith up who was heard umpteen times saying if that bast--d does'n't stop when he should i&#

Another excellent song from the vastly under rated Between the Buttons album. Complicated - sounds like a fairground organ with growling bass, smashing symbols, maracas and a few jungle effects thrown into the boilings rhythms. MJ states that it was recorded in the USA- it's all about a groupie. Highly unlikely that the Stones will ever play this in concert but one can live and ho

Excellent picures withsssoul and a wonderful insight into how Brown Sugar was born. Terrific guitar and recording info. from all posters especially Mathijs whose guitar and technical knowledge is un-surpassed. Mick did write BS in the middle of a desert in Australia on a portable electric guitar in the summer of 1969 whilst making the Ned Kelly movie. Mick had time off the set for

There appears to be a lot of conflicting opinions about how well the Stones have played or performed during the present tour. 70% of people who have attended individual concerts have been expressing the opinion that the Stones sound is guitar based, sounds excellent and really rock & roll's. 60% of people after the concert are happy about the Stones performance but complain that the s
