QuoteStonesfan2146 Are there rehearsals today. If they rehearse, they should have started around this time. FFS! We don't even know for sure that they are in Australia, let alone where in Australia, let alone where in which city they are rehearsing. If you can even, verifiably, point to where they are, then share that information with us all (and in a way that doesn't rock BV'

Quotewinos Channel 7 had a very, very brief shot of some live Stones footage last night to say they were coming back but not when exactly One of the commercial channels - 9 I think - had (or even has?) a commercial arrangement with The Stones (or more likely the promoters) and they ran a "special" on the eve of the truncated tour. So arguably, they are more likely to get the scoop o

QuoteMacnee2 Any sources or supporting evidence to suggest that they are on the way? Nothing has been reported publicly. In Australia their arrival would be major media news. Indicative Tweets from Ronnie, Mrs Ronnie, & Bernard. Open to all to see. Reports of Mick & Ronnie dining together in Dubai on Saturday last. Agreed, so far ZILCH seen in the media about their actual arrival..

Quotewinos Wait until next week when it warms up again in SE Australia.....! Hey Captain Corella are you heading out to Melb airport to confirm whether there is a Stones tongue parked out there? If I can find any more evidence that they are indeed in town then I may well pop down there with my trusty binoculars and a camera with a good telephoto lens. ie More evidence than one posting here

Quotecolonial It's all clear skies with warm Spring temperatures for The Stones arrival in Australia and New Zealand You are obviously NOT posting from Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide. It's bloody freezing in Melbourne at the moment (15.6 at this typing) - and will be until the weekend.

So, has anyone picked up any evidence anywhere that The Stones actually travelled last night? Indirectly, tour related activity on the Twitter feed and Facebook may be a pointer. Anyone? (I got fascinated watchng one of the possible flights on flightradar24.com last evening and learnt that the landing speed of an A380 is as low as 115kmph! My car can go faster than that!!)

QuoteMacnee2 Emirates flight 5010 to Melbourne was slightly delayed and left about the same time as EK440. What do we know of the location of the other 3 guys? Where the hell are the papparazi, or at least the iorr.org fanatics when we need solid info? I'm not a (scum) papparazi, but I'm only 15 mins from the airport in Melbourne... Keen to rush there if I know that's whe

We await news from Melbourne airport Why does everybody assume that they are going to Melbourne instead of Adelaide? Quotebye bye johnny QuoteDeathgod Ronnie tweeted he was leaving Dubai bound for Aus. That's only flight into Aus. Ronnie's tweet from a couple of hours ago - "G'bye Dubai, G'day Oz ~ Waiting to fly to Australia" "Waiting" isn't quite the same as "leaving". Suffice to say he/they will be in Oz soon enough, most likely on a charter d

QuoteDeathgod London rehearsal source came from Europe. Ronnie tweeted he was leaving Dubai bound for Aus. That's only flight into Aus. There's also a flight into Melbourne within the timeframe we're guessing at, and we really don't know that they are flying commercial, together, separately, or on a charter!

Going out on a hopeful limb here! At the time I'm writing this (08:15 AEST) Twitter tells me that Sally Wood, WITH RONNIE IN THAT PICTURE, will be leaving Dubai. My guess is that they are headed, on a commercial flight, to Melbourne (look at the outbound from Dubai) and will arrive here tonight 21:50 AEST - about 13.5 hours from the time of this posting.

QuoteMarhsall The Kennedy Assassination. I've reseached books & materials for over 20 yrs. and this yr.I've finally decided to write my own book. Then, and this is 100% serious, make sure that you compare the list of people closely involved with Watergate with the list of people in the Warren Commission report and where they all were in and around November 22nd 1963.

OK, here we go again... The lads seem to be in Dubai, a frequent stopover between Australia and Europe. If we're going to use to watch their progress, then we need to know if they are still using ZS-DJI Anyone?

Quotecolonial bitusa2012..What are there rumours Jimmy mightn't be playing yea? Jimmy has been in hospital for an operation. He has had to postpone some of his own band's shows. Whilst NOTHING has been said about the Stones' support gigs, it's obviously something to keep an eye on. He is NOT (thank Clapton!) support at Hanging Rock, or Hunter Valley.

QuoteMacnee2 I am in Adelaide, my assumption is that they will either fly into Sydney on the east coast to rehearse then come into Adelaide on show day, or rehearse here. Now if they use a warehouse here, there is a high concentration of sheds in my area, and fairly easy to keep low profile. This is where I'm relying on the iorr insiders for clues. If they use an actual music venue, there a

QuoteRoughJusticeOnYa And to mr. Chess I'd say: yeah, right... (Sounds a whole lot like a Keithism to me, that story.) I go back to the point about how unusual and hard it was in 1962 in England to do an international order for obscure LP records from a small label in the middle of the far off USA. It's plausible that if they only had a couple of sales to England per month (o

QuoteDandelionPowderman Map out likely places in your area, "Your area". Who are you kidding. Australia is 7.6 MILLION square Kilometers (the USA is 9.16 MILLION). So mapping out likely places in your area is, ahem, akin to narrowing down the search for a needle in a haystack by saying that the haystack is in a field somewhere! It was Mick. In addition to all of the above comments, remember that Mick and Keef come from very different backgrounds. Mick's family were relatively well off middle-class with his dad being a teacher, whereas Keef comes from a poor(er) working class background. Mick would have had the resources (cash and ability ie knowing how to do it) to buy records from the USA, Keef would not
