Quotekammpberg Interesting what Maindefender wrote that he left the show to watch a hockey game. I've seen every Stones tour since 1975 except the last US tour because....wasn't worth it to me...so expensive and predictable. I'm a huge Stones fan - over 300 albums (imports, collectors items etc) and still listen to them all the time. I find people very defensive on this website

RIP mister Covay. Another great voice gone. Would love to hear the Invitation outtake from Dirty Work here as a tribute. Vocals by Don Covay, Bobby Womack and Mick Jagger.

I hope so, but please not Midnight Rambler only again. This is what they've done for three years now and apart from some glimmers of greatness now and then (Sway, Can't You Hear Me Knocking) enough is enough. On the other hand I understand fans in South-America won't mind

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteOzHeavyThrobber Dated badly as all songs that are political usually do maybe except SFM. But it has a good beat with an interesting sound/production that was crisp and fresh. At the time I was just stoked they were back on the road with a hit album and single. I never understood how they failed to hear "Soul survivor" or "It must be hell" in that recyc

Makes me think of a combined album of the best tracks of the Some Girls and Exile De Luxe bonus discs. Just one album with 12-14 tracks released, That could have been a great "Tattoo Two" album in 2011. "SOMETHING LIKE THIS": Claudine Keep Up Blues Plundered My Soul No Spare Parts Pass The Wine Do You Think I really Care Tallahassee Lassie We Had It All I'

QuoteTooTough You are really asking if to buy a Ronnie Wood solo album? Every Ronnie Wood solo album is a must buy for everybody on IORR. Extra bonus: Mick, Keith, Charlie, Mick Taylor all contributed through the years and also Bernard Fowler, Daryll Jones, Ian MacLaghan, Bobby Keys and many other great ones. My Top 5: 1. I FEEL LIKE PLAYIN' 2. GIMME SOME NECK 3. I GOT MY OWN A

QuoteRipThisBone Quotekleermaker QuoteRipThisBone QuoteNICOS Rolling Stones - 1971 Marquee Club trailer...... Great! Thanks NICOS Far better quality compared to the known bootleg video/dvd! Different angles too. Still this seems to be from the known part of the two Marquee performances. Here Keith is wearing a white shirt, while on some pictures he wears a black one with figures on it. QuoteAmpegVT22 They were fabulous in Bristol, March '71. Horns & piano clearly audible. Plenty of excitement; not at all like the lumpen Marquee show. They didn't do WIld Horses that night; I'd already heard the Gram Parsons v. at the 1970 IOW festival & would have known the song if they'd played it in Bristol. They did do Bitch. Horns sounded great. Otherwise the

Wooow!!!!!! Great and important thread. Worth a sticky! This thread proves a STICKY FINGERS DELUXE is in the works. Please change the Subject title, something with a "Sticky Fingers DeLuxe" reverence.

I don't think you can compare U2 with The Rolling Stones at all. The Stones are simply out of competition, they are THE GREATEST ROCK N ROLL BAND EVER!!!

I was looking for the thread about the new songtitles I read this afternoon and found it here. A bit confusing. Maybe it would be better to change the title of Subject so a lot more people would be intersted in the thread.

QuoteRipThisBone STU's roll during TOTA? You mean in the meaning of the Jerry Lee Lewis song Get Out Your Big Roll Daddy? I wonder who knows the answer about the state of STU's roll in 1975. Well he was rolling with the stones, I suppose his roll was well looked after.

QuoteStonesCat How about: Mick Taylor has stated that he can't bear to play MR again, so which of these three should he play on instead: Dead Flowers Live With Me Respectable(as the third guitar in the duel) Nice idea. Certainly not Dead Flowers, watch the 100 club 1971 TV show of Dead Flowers with MT. He's just playing a diarrea of notes, just too much for an easy simple but

Quotefrankotero Havo- I think it's worth to buy at least the CD/DVD package. It's easily worth 20 euros no matter which other title you already have. That's my opinion. However, I will buy all the L.A. 75 formats. And maybe the forthcoming titles as well. But this one has been too over played through the years. Anyhow, nice to have it official and on silver cds. Of course I bought

Any news if Phil Rudd is doing the PLAY BALL Tour or why he's not in the video's or the picture. Bit strange. Maybe he's too busy promoting his solo album? What would we think if Charlie was out of 2 videos and not in the pictures today in Adelaide.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Yeah, Malc is 61 after all. But if you get it in your 40s or early 50s it's way more life-threatening. 61 is not old at all in the western world these days, but very young to be demented. It's a real shame. Thanks for the great times and music Malcolm. I am interested in the new AC/DC album, but Play Ball sounds like more of the same, it's getting a bit
