"Andrew ? No, Andrew had money. But I wouldn’t feed Andrew anyway. I wouldn’t piss on him if he were on fire." lol lol lol lol HaHaHaHa, Yes! Yes! This could have been a great title for an early outtake instrumental from 64! (Remember Andrews Blues?)

QuoteChacal Quotestonesrule Stu was a real person. He wouldn't like being called a legend or having his finances discussed with strangers on a website. The Stones did right by him. You seem to have an awful lot of faith in the Rolling Stones... I can't think of a reason why, really. Note what Ian Stewart said (in his interview with Bill German) about the early days and about

Just in case you missed it. There's a picture of Mick, his son and Matt Clifford watching "the game" (1-7) between Brasil and Germany yesterday in Brasil. Jagger jr. is wearing a brasilian shirt. Don't know how to post it. Hope he's not wearing an orange shirt tonight!

One of the best shows I did see was Ryan Adams in Paradiso around 2001 (?) during the GOLD release. He played for three hours. A magic show. He wore a Rolling Stones 1978 Tour(!) T-shirt that night. I lost interest in him later but Heartbreaker and WhiskeyTown are great albums.

QuoteCristiano Radtke According to a tweet I've read today, they've played Bitch and Like a Rolling Stone on the soundcheck. Interesting to know. Thank you Cristiano. Sometimes soundchecks are more interesting than the setlist. Check out www.nzentgraf.de everbody!

Quotebv Soundcheck. The band is here. Did you hear what songs bv? Come on (not the song) "speak", this is just interesting to know. Like they did You Win Again (Hank Williams) with Keith vocals at soundchecks in 2003. Everybody have a great show tonight and what a shame (not the song) to miss it due to a strike. Bad Faith indeed. Terrible.

QuoteNikkei a relatively fresh one which i meddled on with the intention of personal use. in my opinion it reflects the term "waldbühne" better, which means "forest stage" in english. just like the tongue on the Hydepark-DVDs. heck i'm probably just too cheap to afford the actual litho. Better than the original Nikkei!!! You were at Waldbuhne 1965 and it comes off

QuoteNikkei i must admit that i envy you for both paradiso experiences. also the term "my ongoing Stones-Tour (1999-and counting)" is very nice. spot-on. was it your first time at waldbühne? Says the MAN who was at Waldbuhne 1965!!! Great! Yes it was my first time at Waldbuhne I was only 1 year old in 1965!!! (and 18 when my Stones Tour started in 1982, not 1999). Great you are still R

Remember another unique open-air Stones event was "The Museumplein" in Amsterdam 1995, the second Paradiso clubshow was directly screenend on a big screen at this square. I was there, but can't remember exactly how many people also. A lot, some 10.000 or so just watching the screen, listening and even singing along! I have to look it up in my old scrapebooks. The night before I ha

QuoteCousinC Quoteswiss The best quote I found about Mick and religion is the one I posted a couple pages back. He basically says he is maybe somewhat spiritual but not religious, and does not believe in religion, nor a supreme being. Thank God for that . . Not allah?

QuoteParisrambler I would choose Loving cup.... but I bet, it will be Respectable, as John Meyer is support act AND a guest for Respectable. Not really a vote... He was also support act at PinkPop the Netherlands this tour but did not guest, so you can never be sure. One thing is certain we will get a song tonight that's not already been played on the European leg of the 14 On Fire Tour.

Quotemr_dja QuoteOutOfTime Thanks Mr DJA for your interesting reaction. Maybe it is because I also don't care enough to make this an issue at work or in general and I certainly don't like to be accused of being a racist while I am not, but the though comes up in my head once in a while. What I think is people who believe in "something" (in The Netherlands mostly muslims)
