yeah, this deserved to be a standalone.

I wonder if it would have sold in higher numbers as well, if the mass audience had regarded this as a new album, as opposed to a tack on of a Some Girls retread?

Nah, it could have been a stand alone, in 2011 OR Christmas time 1978.

I like it a lot, the whole album, except You Win Again. That one is overproduced with too much new vocals by Mick. I prefer the original outtake with Keith on shared vocals.

I liked it...I wish they had included Linda Lu (or did they and I just don't remember?) I also think the version of "Don't Be A Stranger" with the original lyrics ( not everybody is lucky in love) was a much better song..

The rest is garbage! If they'd done Fiji Jim, I Need You, The Way She Held Me Tight, A Different Kind and since they went past the SG sessions might as well include Not The Way To Go it would've been a lot better.

It's decent. Definitely not as good as Emotional Rescue. It's a decent bunch of bootlegs.

It has overall more quality songs than the Exile deluxe, but none are as good as either Plundered My Soul or I'm Not Signifying.

Favs: Claudine, No Spare Parts, Do You Think I Care, You Win Again

I like it a lot, certainly better than both Emotional Rescue and the bonuses on Exile.

Some Girls outtakes is fantastic! I always wondered how they could not publish these songs in the album official. Now Some Girls is a true double album! Masterpiece!

This fantastic guitars/music with early lyrics was already classic for me titled "Some People Tell Me" from bootleg.
Then we got KEEP UP BLUES....with great new lyrics and vocals by Mick I played it to dead for a few months after it's official release and KEPT on playing it.... gonna listen to it now. Yes!

***Oh YessssAaah...Love the ending with the original 77-78: "Well that's it" and also "the limblegging far behind" sentence.

Perhaps it's great for those not familiar with the bootleg recordings. I had been listening to the Clauding-Accidents Never Happen bootleg for years, so when the Some Girls reissue came out, I was totally disappointed. Jaggers new vocals are terrible. I hate his "new" style of singing. Same thing with the Exile reissue. I pretty much only liked Tallahasse Lassie. No offense please, but "Outoftimes" Tattoo Two sounds like a stinker to me. Mick please go back to your old vocal style, bury your vocals down in the mix again and be part of the overall sound. Not Vocals, with a band backing it up. And go back to your old phrasing style too. Even solo, great great songs but your upfront vocal phrasing is killing it. "Old Habits Die Hard is a good example......

I think Jagger's vocal on Do You Think I Really Care are awesome! I love that song and I really like the whole disc.
