I am very sorry to hear of Sonoko's passing. She always had a great smile and Passion for the band and her travels. Last time I spoke to her was at the Taylor/Wood shows in Ny. Rest in peace.

I always thought it was common knowledge the dead brought in the angels for Security. From what I understand, the UK also had a Angels club but were much More civil - so maybe the stones did not know better? Many people who went to the show said they had a great time and were not aware Of any issues. I assume the only chaos was near the stage. Anyway, it appeared, the dead ran off like a

I thought Mick Taylor played the whole show at KC in 1981? I must be wrong as this would seem impossible and risky for many reasons - would have loved to Witness it though no matter what the outcome!

I assume Alan is still on board. He has been with them since early 70's. Best man at Mick's wedding to Jerry.

Royalhue, which of the posters did you design? The recent posters are beautiful. I have purchased quite a few and hope this will continue into 2015 and the shows which we are all looking forward to. The variety in the various poster Designs is exciting!

Well...I posted this but really wanted to not spread rumors even if it all Seems to be collaborated in the file correspondence. My feeling is the memos Show a very naive reporter who was covering his backside in the event it all blew up. The film is brilliant and especially when viewed by a stones fan. Read no-more into it than that.

The three songs for Keith must be a first? Mick must need to rest his throat... I only looked at the set list and not the thread so please excuse me if this has already been discussed.

Hope the DVD is a decent upgrade from the bootlegged version. I was pleasantly Surprised with the Hampton show as compared with the boot. My guess is since a blue-ray is not offered that the source material is of less quality than Hampton. I'm sure it will be an improvement over what we had previously though.

A large file of paperwork relating to the Jagger movie performance dating from the production was recently auctioned at Julian's. Within the material it seems Were several references to Anita Palenburg and Mick - lots of documented strangeness. You should still be able to view some of the Docs on the Julian's Site. Not sure how much it sold for. The auction was last weekend. Strang

Back in the 60's and 70's acetates were handed out from the sessions as a common Practice. I assume for the session players, producers etc. I can see how these Could be leaked. Not sure were these older soundboards come from though. Also The many hours of recordings from the satanic sessions - eight hours or so.

Will that great HangingRock poster be available or are the all scraped because of the cancellation? Certainly some were printed to be sold at the show.

Nice story and memory. My friend and I were at the final show the Following night. We were both Rock photographers at the time and were Able to secure photo passes. Ended up shooting the whole show from about Three people back in the center of the floor. I never would have thought We would not see them again until 1989...long time ago.

Interesting question and a fair analogy. Well if he was restricted like Mick Taylor he would hopefully play "popeye the sailor man" during Satisfaction as he would occasionally during the 60's just to piss Off Mick and Keth.

If Keith did this - it does sounds like the morale Keith we know. This makes the most sense of all - I'm going with it and am satisfied. Case closed. More Cowbell!

Really...an excited fan who was probably still in high school runs on stage and you Hit him in the head with a guitar? Keith would Certainly be embarrassed about this event today. The poor kid probably just smoked his first joint or had his First beer. He was about as threatening as a bunny rabbit. Seems a little push or a nasty look would have been better. There were plenty of stagehands p

The fan was just an excited kid. No excuse for hitting him in the head with a guitar! Keith seems to have or had some weird macho problem. My opinion anyway.

I agree Mick Taylor is not what he was. Maybe he needs a challenge - which he is Not given right now. I just do not know.

I may be wrong but sometimes I feel Mick Jagger holds back the creativeness of Ronnie and Mick T. This is only an educated guess but I wonder if Jagger is such A control freak that he wants NO surprises during the 20 song set. Any deviation might be met with disapproval from Jagger. Let's face it Jagger is the stones for 90% of the Audience (we know better) and I suspect the other members

This is purely my own opinion. The energy and excellence of a stones concert is No comparison to a beach boys show. Beach boys, in particular Mike love, are depressing to witness live.

I'm a long time Dylan Fan but have been disappointed in the last show I saw of his- about a year ago. I live near Chicago and would attend multiple shows around the area. He has a great band but the shows are all the same now. The stage lighting a joke - no brighter than candlelight for most of the show. I will do One of Bob's Chicago shows. Bob's still a great artist and sure

Yes, something must have happened. Seems such a waste for Mick Taylor to Be restricted to Rambler and strumming along to Satisfaction EVERY night. In the US he was sometimes doing four songs. Setlists were more interesting As well. Now they are down to 19 songs from 22-23 songs in the US.

OOPs it was actually John Mayhall who recommended the stellar Mick Taylor for the the stones job opportunity back in 1969. I think Jack would have approved though.

yes, Cream was Jack....Eric played along with Jack in Jack's band. This is my opinion anyway.... By the way, Mick Taylor was recommended by Jack to fill Brian's spot when he was dismissed. When Mick Taylor left the stones in late 1974, Mick Taylor said he was joining the Jack Bruce band. RIP Jack...

Yes so many great tunes missing from their previous live sets. 1. Top of the list is "mothers little helper" why this is never played is bizarre. 2. "coming down again" since Mick Taylor is back in the band. Let's face it, the Keith selections need some excitement. Not sure if this would keep the attention Of the Masses but I know the real fans would postpone the b

Loved squeeze especially the black coffee in bed era. They were going to be the next biggest thing and maybe they should have. Glenn Tilbrook still tours. To me "Tempted" was over played as they wrote many better tunes - just my Opinion.

Don't get me wrong any shots from this recording session are a god send. However, The last three are the clear winners - my guess is these were shot by a professional. The first bunch by someone who happened to have a kodak camera In his pocket. The last two in particular are outstanding!
