Holy shit. As an archivist, I would love to be the person to accession this collection. In fact,
it's the sort of "rock and roll memorabilia" (truly: archives) I'd consider purchasing. Especially
since it went for only $2,800!! I don't need Jimi Hendrix's guitar strap, but papers from the
Performance era? Sure!

Check this out...holy moses...if I had known this about Anita, I had forgotten it (Marianne may

From Ray Anzarut to Ken Hyman
Dated: Friday 13th September 1968

Dear Ken, After a week of agony when the FPI doctor refused to give Michele Breton
full cover because of the physical sparseness (she is thinner than an aspen leaf), and
Anita Pallenberg had problems emerging from an all-too familiar situation which would
have pleased the Pope after his recent encyclical*, we were very close to recasting
Pallenberg's part.

Luckily Breton's appearance belied a stanucher physical stamina and Pallenberg made a
recovery which must have impressed the gynecologist.

As of last night, they were on full risk again.

July 1968. It reiterates the rejection of most forms of birth control, and addresses the question of

This stuff is pretty remarkable. Sandy Lieberson was a close friend of my late dad's, who was also a film producer, and I've known him most of my life, so this is of particular interest to me. It could never happen as a studio production today.

Well...I posted this but really wanted to not spread rumors even if it all
Seems to be collaborated in the file correspondence. My feeling is the memos
Show a very naive reporter who was covering his backside in the event it all blew up. The film is brilliant and especially when viewed by a stones fan. Read no-more into it than that.

That Ray Anzurat writes a funny memo...fascinating stuff and in the end they produced a fantastic film we are still talking about 50 years on. This may have been asked before but whatever became of Michelle Breton?
